This is my 2nd Thermal Label printer. But... it is by far my favorite. This is a 100% standalone unit. Its sad that I have to point that out. But my other Thermal Label printer only works with the MFG app, and you have to sign up for an account on their cloud server in order to use their printer. As far as I can tell, this unit does not require anything thats not included in the box... with the exception of additional labels. I didnt even have to go to the MFG web site to download the drivers. There is a little USB drive in the box with all the drivers I needed for Windows. Installation was easy. There were parts of the instructions that werent completely clear. Its not obvious that you need the drivers from the USB drive. In the package contents, its referred to as a U-Drive. The instructions then later say to copy the drivers from the U-disk. But thats being a bit picky. That was the only part of the installation that caused me any issue -- knowing where to find the drivers. Integration with Windows is almost 100% perfect. The first labels I wanted to print on are 2.25x1.25. When I installed these and printed a Test page, the word Test straddle the gap between two consecutive labels. I assumed that meant that the print driver didnt understand the label size, or had advanced the roll of labels beyond the perforation. After a few failed attempts, I tried just printing a label that was filled top to bottom and left to right with text. The label printed perfectly. So, Im guessing theres an issue with Windows Test Page software. My other label printer required the roll of labels to be inside the printer. My roll is too big to fit inside, so I was having to cut the amount of labels I wanted to print. This printer has external label holder. I wasnt actually expecting to get an external label holder. The external label holder is awesome and certainly keeps the roll of labels organized. The software thats available from the MFGs website (ShipPrinter) is a bit weak. You can add a barcode to a label, but you cant actually modify the contents of the barcode. Fortunately, I dont need to use the application. The Android app is just as lame. Again, you can enter a barcode, but you have to type the contents. Theres no way to import the contents of a spreadsheet into a label. That makes the application almost useless.

Great little stand alone thermal printer for shipping labels. The unit comes with a USB drive with the needed drivers, connects via Bluetooth and it simply works. It comes with with a 100 labels to get you started right away. The thermal printer never needs ink or toner since the paper is also the print media.

The main feature that I like about this label maker is the easy of use and connectivity. No weird USB-B printer cables or requirement to connect to your local network. Simple Bluetooth allows printing on the go when travelling for work. Print quality is similar to other thermal label printers I have tried, maybe a little bit lighter than average but nothing that impacts legibility or ability to scan barcodes.

I ordered this to replace my existing label printer because it works with Wifi and my old one would only print when it was plugged into the computer. This is a definite upgrade, it’s very well made and super-fast. I do a lot of mailings and appreciate the fact that this printer uses thermal paper and does not require ink. We all know how expensive printer ink is so it shouldn’t take too long for this to pay for itself. It has a tiny footprint, so it doesn’t take up much space and it works flawlessly from my phone and my computer. Love it and recommend it!

This is a great thermal label printer. Installation was easy - I downloaded the printer drivers from the manufacturer’s website and they installed with no issues. I left all the default settings and once I hit print, within a couple of seconds the label comes out. It’s so much faster than my laser printer. This printer also comes with a label feed tray and a stack of 4x6 labels so you can start printing immediately. Although the printer can be used via bluetooth, I have it plugged into my computer with the included USB cable since most of my printing is done on my computer, and it works great!

I run a small business from home where I’m required to send out packages, this little thermal printer does exactly what I need it to. I’ve seen better on the market but for the price this one is fine. There is a small learning curve and the app has improved a lot. There is still much room for improvement on the software side but with a few updates hopefully it gets better. Still 5/5 stars.

I have had other label printers, but this was the first one I got that was bluetooth connected. I wasnt sure if it will be responsive enough (print lots at once) but turned out to work just fine. The installation was pretty simple, and the pairing process was very normal. It prints like printing to a normal printer The quality is average as it is a thermal printer, and requires proper labels for it to print. In other words, it doesnt use ink. The speed is quite fast and it works very well. Great label printer for light to medium duty.

Initial setup was not the easiest (not the best instructions), but once set up its a decently little printer. You can use an app to print any PDFs like pdf shipping labels. The print quality is more than acceptable and since its thermal, you dont have to worry about ink or toner. Over all Im pretty happy with it!
