The magnets are really strong they can hold a very heavy towel very recommended

Using to hang lights on a metal gazebo, so far they are working great. I am using them to hang outdoor Edison bulbs so it is a little bulkier than just simple string lights. I would definitely buy again and may to use in my shop.

These are no where near 80lb of strength. They can be pulled off an unpainted steal beam with one finger. Absolute garbage if you were looking for 80lb magnets. They are closer to 8lb.

Extremely strong holding force
