Works fine, running in a Cisco Router

I ordered four more of these MMF SFP+ modules to extend my network to a new garage, along with a 10-pack of the 10Gb SMF SFP+ modules for trunking. I was a bit unsure whether my 10Gb switches (Unifi USW-Aggregation) would gracefully handle 1Gb modules, and also 10Gb modules terminating in 1Gb ports on my other switches (also Unfi). Everything is working beautifully with no issues. These SFP+ modules are a great value. Any new stuff I do will use SMF where possible, but its nice to be able to mix and match modules as needed - when I originally started messing with fiber interconnects, I didnt know enough to use SMF, but for 1Gb short-haul cabling to older switches, MMF is fine.

Using this with the Ubiquiti US-16-XG and it provide not only 10GbE but when connected to the Sabrent NT-SS5G it will downswitch to 5GbE as well.

Giving full bandwidth for AT&T Fiber

I bought this to get 2.5Gbps from my modem to my Dream Machine Pro, and it does just that. This has been in use for about four months without issue, and with a handful of relocations, updates, and reconnections it has always reported at the right speed.

I purchased a couple of these for my two QNAP NAS units to take advantage of their exponentially-faster 10GB SFP+ ports. In conjunction with a compatible 10GB network switch and Cat7 cable, I am achieving just that. It delivers the goods at a reasonable price.
