> 3 dayI am using this transceiver in my TP-Link T1700G-28TQ switch to connect my NUC11PAHi5 at 2.5Gb/s to my NAS on a 10G SR port. The transceiver was plug and play with this switch and the NUC happily autonegotiated at 2.5Gb/s. Throughput is exactly what Id expect.

> 3 dayWorked as expected in a TP-Link switch. No configuration needed, Got the advertised speed of 10GBps on the 30 meter version with a short direct run. I got 5GBps on a cat 5e run going through a patch panel with a length of about 50 feet. An 80 meter version of the sfp got me the full 10GBps going through that identical cat 5e run.

> 3 dayI initially had some trouble getting two of these to link over about 30ft of CAT6a before realizing that my patch panel was only rated for Cat6. After switching to a CAT6a keystone everything started working and the link tests good at 10GBit. Im using these between two Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN units. Note: these do run hotter than you would expect, but its perfectly within spec and is fine.

> 3 dayThe transceivers worked as I had hoped. Read other reviews stating only 1g and 10g connections possible. In my setup they negotiated at 2.5gbps over copper with a Ubuntu box with a 2.5GBase-T PCIe Network Adapter RTL8125B. The MikroTIK switch advertised rates 1g, 2.5g, 5g and 10g rates. Ethtool on the linux side displayed advertisements from MikroTik and connected speed.

> 3 dayThis is my second set of these that I have ordered. They are all running in Mikrotik switches / routers. Just pop them in and they work out of the box. One set even survived a lightning strike (the hardware they were in was not so lucky).

> 3 dayIt is heating up like fire, don’t waste your time and money, not connecting with switches, also Amazon cheating returning items, it costs us more timing, they should have opened dropping stores.

> 3 dayI bought quite a few of these to upgrade a customer with Ubiquiti enterprise switches and they worked with out any issues. I have now been running them for over 3 months and no drops in network.
