> 3 day3 in 1 oil was invented in 1894. Its in a small can and is used for small jobs requiring oil lubrication. The only time this product would not receive five stars would be if the can was defective and leaked, or if the price was excessive. My can from Amazon did not leak, was in perfect condition, and was very reasonable priced. The only change over the years has been from packaging in metal cans to packaging in plastic cans. The metal was probably better. But if the plastic doesnt leak, its just as good.

> 3 dayDecent price, usually I lose a small can like this before I use it all up. Electric motor oil it fills the bill.

> 3 dayIt’s worth mentioning that everyone here is familiar with the Original 3 in 1 multipurpose household oil blend (black and red) and I’ve learned a few things today. I saw a video saying that you can’t use the original blend for bearings because it’s a detergent and it will only last you a few days whereas this blend oil is NOT a detergent. The 4 images that both bottles show what objects to be used for would be pretty much self explanatory. The way I see it now, the original blend is just a penetrant and this oil is sort of a penetrant but it stays for a long time. Hence why it is SAE 20, meaning how thick the oil is and how much temperature it can withstand. Approximately 380 degrees maximum before the oil begins to dry out

> 3 dayTime to clean my two floor fans and one table fan. For lubricating the fan bearings, 3-in-one oil is just what the doctor ordered.

> 3 dayAs some other reviewers have mentioned, it is important to realize that this is NOT the stereotypical 3-IN-ONE oil that has been used for eons around the house. That other oil was designed as a light household oil and it worked good for those applications. See here:

> 3 dayI have a couple of those small, black honeywell air circulator fans, and the oil/lubricant that they use in those when assembling them in the factory is absolute rubbish. After a year of constant use the fans were so gummed up that they didnt spin freely. I know we are in an age where everything is disposable, but I really would love to not have to spend $80 on fans every year. So I bought this, and, and put it in all the fans. It works well, incredibly well. The fans spin better than new, in my opinion. From now on all fans I buy will be getting a shot of this
