> 24 hourI own 4 different older 8bitdo controllers and they have unusable d-pads. Its impossible to switch cardinal directions without hitting diagonals. This is NOT how NES/SNES controllers are supposed to work. Well, they finally fixed it with these models! These are virtually perfect. Low latency, work correctly on original hardware, and they feel right. I am including an image to show that they really did fix the d-pad problems: the new 2.4G model (on the right) has contacts shaped like a real SNES controller. The old bluetooth style on the left has the usual 8bitdo quad contacts that do not work correctly. I 100% recommend these. They come paired out of the box, have no discernible latency, and play great.

> 24 hourUpdate: I exchanged the controller I had an issue with for another one here on Amazon and it doesnt have this issue. Very happy overall with the quality of this controller. I upgraded my review to three stars. Not because the product itself, when working correctly, isnt worthy of 4 or 5. But because I think this is an issue that needs attention drawn to it. If I had a bad unit others might also. I want people to be aware and check to make sure the controllers you order are problem free. If I had 100% confidence in quality control itd be a 4 star product. If in addition it had a USB receiver option, itd be a 5 star product. Original Review: The D pad on the SN edition wont respond to up on the d-pad unless you press it with considerably more force than the other directions. The SF edition doesnt have this problem. I tried to remedy it by replacing the rubber membrane with one I had laying around and that didnt work and felt mushier. Will be sending one of these controllers back for replacement. Apart from that, the fit and finish are sublime and the only thing holding it back from perfection is the lack of availability of a USB receiver for PC or MiSTer. Still, for original hardware these would easily replace my standard bluetooth editions (especially since I couldnt use two of those at the same time without them interfering with one another). Im just very disappointed that the D pad doesnt work on one of the controllers. Will update when I receive a replacement.

> 24 hourMy original SNEs gave up the ghost a couple years ago. I bought a FC Twin to play the games on, it worked fine with my original controllers. Then my controllers wore out. I ordered these thinking it would be cool to have wireless ones. Found out the hard way that these controllers are **NOT** FC Twin compatible. Did all the troubleshooting and both controllers did the same thing. They would connect, but the ONLY button that would work was the B button. They might work great on the original, but dont waste your time if you have the FC twin like I do.

> 24 hourI bought this mainly for MiSTer and I have to say it just as impressive 8bitdos M30 2.4Ghz controller. The build quality is very high quality, the buttons are very responsive and most importantly this model doesnt have any issues with the diagonals via the D-Pad. Connection also seems very strong as I havent had any issues with missed button presses. Highly Recommended, especially for the price.

> 24 hourSo far so good! Very easy to connect and no noticeable input lag. It does feel a bit heavier than the og controller I assume because of the battery. The buttons feel the same and dpad works well.

> 24 hourI just bought two of these: one SNES and one Famicon. I was dubious as Ive had 3rd party controllers before that were mediocre at best, but with my current tv setup, wireless was a necessity. They work perfectly! No wireless issues whatsoever, excellent button response, clear little LED indicators on the top for charging and use. I do like the concave Y and X buttons of the SNES controller better than the all-convex buttons on the Famicom and was thinking of exchanging that one so both were SNES, but the color coordination is great for teaching my 4 year old how to play. Press the green button! I am beyond happy with these controllers and would recommend them for anyone that wants wireless SNES controllers. Absolutely perfect.

> 24 hourThis is a great controller overall. The packaging is simple and compact. The texture of the controller feels really good. The buttons do feel a bit stiff but they just take some getting used to. This is made up for because the controller is very responsive and shows little to no latency. The biggest problem is that the receiver, being how small it is, has no grip on it and to make matters worse, locks VERY tight in the snes controller port so it is very hard to take out and if your hands are even slightly wet or sweaty, its nearly impossible to remove. This controller is great, but 8bitdo really needs to fix that reciever.
