Im so thankful for this product!! I let someone install Linux after my hard drive was replaced...and what a mess. I tried installing Windows 10 ISO via a USB drive and it was not working. After spending hours fiddling with that, I took a gamble and bought this CD. I switched the boot order to the CD drive in the BIOS and it loaded the first attempt. Ive never been so happy to see that Microsoft logo! HaHa!! Definitely worth the cost and aggravation to have an install disc handy.

I took a ten year old HP laptop with a failed hard drive that I replaced and booted from the CD-rom. The process was quick and easy to finish. Very satisfied.

The price was really good. All of the software identified as out of date but that was okay because my computer downloaded the latest versions. I had installed a new hard drive which required me to get the original vista operating system from online vendor but that only cost $20, then I installed windows 7 from the upgrade disc that I bought years ago and I used that windows activation code to get through the win10 upgrade which I was not able to do without these discs since Microsoft wanted $200 to do the upgrade.
