I have a Denon 3700H avr and it ran hot as a pancake until I bought this cooler. All my electronics run in an unenclosed rack and this unit sits atop the Denon and exhausts out the back. Had I not found this cooler I was prepared to return the Denon - despite my really liking it. Apparently, from what Ive read about these Denon avrs, running hot is an issue with them. I play movies loud and this cooler works perfectly. Highly recommended.

AC Infinity Aircom S8 and AC Cloudplate T1-N used to cool a Yamaha TSR-7850 Natural Sound AV Receiver mounted in a rack. The S8 draws in air from the top of the receiver and vents out the rear. The T1-N draws in room temperature air from the front and vents it into the bottom of the receiver through a Pyle vented shelf that holds the receiver.

Did my research and decided this was the right product for me. AND I WAS RIGHT! My Denon 4300 would get very hot and the picture/sound would flicker. Setup of the AIRCOM S8 was very easy. Set the fan on 1/2 speed and automatic. I see it kick on when it starts to get warm, and I havent experienced any problems with picture/sound since. Would definitely recommend.

Works. Really well at that. Was initially looking at installing fans in the sides of the cabinet but ended up not needing them when this was in-place. Simply moving the air around was enough to cool the cabinet by several degrees.

I assume its doing its job well as my Marantz NR1607 hasnt caught on fire yet. It disappears well when sat on top of your receiver and is relatively quiet when under normal load. The automatic fan mode is really convenient for self regulation. Its definitely a niche product for those looking to protect their high end gear so its more of an insurance product than anything. Just be sure to dust around your gear regularly!

Like the design and perform as intended... must have for audio and electronic equipment that somehow need to have a fan.

Very high quality and works very well. Exactly what I was looking for. Keeps my AVR cool and does not make noise. I only know it is running by the display on the front.

Bought this for my new Marantz AVR. Overall, its a great product. However, I realised S8 is not quite suited for the tropics. The ambient temperature in my cabinet is about 29degC. As such, the unit never turns off as it cannot reach the lower cut-off temperture. As such a T8 with adjustable temperatures may be more suitable for me. I opted to keep the unit and turn off the unit using the trigger signal fr my AVR.

    Greater than one week

Purchased 2 units for both of our Denon receivers in our house. I like how these are essentially ‘set it and forget it’ and turn on automatically when the temps get too warm on top of the Denons. These turn on much more often than I anticipated, but assured me they are doing their intended job. At full blast, the fans are obviously audible but at 1/4 or 1/2 speed, you barely noticed them when watching the at normal volumes. The build quality is robust, and these feel like quality components. Also the shallow height allows them to sit on top of the receiver despite less than 2” of clearance to the top. Overall I highly recommend Aircom S8 to keep you expensive AV gear cool.
