AC Infinity AIRCOM S8, Quiet Cooling Blower Fan System 17 Rear-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

I purchased the S8 to cool my new Marantz SR7011. (My Onkyo burned out the hdmi board from excessive heat) It looks great and matches the profile of the Marantz perfectly, I set the system to auto and closed the door to the rear vented cabinet, it took a few minutes and the fan was on full. I could hear it during quiet passages of the movie or tv program. Tested with sound meter and at 12 ft. it averaged 39dB, not very quiet. I had to reduce the fan speed to a maximum of two or it was too loud. Even at the fan speed of two it keeps the receiver cool and is barely audible.

Successfully cooled a very hot amplifier in a cabinet. I was able to use the lowest speed which was not audible from my listening position.

Had concerns about new Denon AVR running hot based on other reviews. With Aircom S8 receiver never becomes hot. Can sometimes hear fan running if no audio present, however fan noise is minimal and has never distracted from audio or visual. Unit has a pleasing look to it. It is a simple product that works well and looks good in Home Theatre setting.

I just spent a small fortune on my first home theater. At the end of our first family movie night in the theater the receiver was so hot I could not even touch it. So I did some research and decided to purchase the Aircom S8 to cool the system.

What a great idea! An aftermarket fan designed specifically for home theater receivers and different cabinet configurations. It does its job really well, but I find anything above fan level 2 a bit too noisy for me (clearly audible during quiet passages). On the other hand, level 2 does a very fine job of keeping the receiver cool so I never need to use the higher fan levels.

I have a Denon 3700H avr and it ran hot as a pancake until I bought this cooler. All my electronics run in an unenclosed rack and this unit sits atop the Denon and exhausts out the back. Had I not found this cooler I was prepared to return the Denon - despite my really liking it. Apparently, from what Ive read about these Denon avrs, running hot is an issue with them. I play movies loud and this cooler works perfectly. Highly recommended.

Very quiet and unobtrusive.

Ive had this for 2 hours. Its exactly what the description reads. Ive seen a few places that offer the same solution but not at that reasonable of a price. Very nice piece of gear. Cheap insurance as far as Im concerned. Very worth it.

Love the shallow design and how efficient these are, I ordered a total of 3 to keep my amps and preamp cool.. love them they are very well made and just nice to look at... yes the led can be bright but I ordered the LightDims original strength precut stickers and they work perfectly.

I have kept my AIRCOM S8 AV Component Fan on smart for the past 5 days since its arrival. It comes on and pulls the hot air out of my Marantz AV receiver just like it is supposed to. The curved front corners also complement the looks of the receiver nicely. Good purchase!
