My receiver was running over 107 degrees until I put this on top and now its cool to the touch. Very quiet too.

Really impressed with this unit ,slim, quiet, and the Smart setting adjusts fan speed automatically. After getting heat warning on my Receiver/Amp I bought this unit and had it in and running in 5 minutes, closed the cabinet door and haven’t had an issue in 2 weeks. Highly recommend for keeping your gear running cool.

We needed an AV cooling solution for our living room entertainment center, which has solid glass front cabinet doors and limited airflow through vented holes in the back. I had previously owned an Antec AV cooler, but after many faithful years of service, it died on me. So, after reading some other Amazon reviews, I bought the AC Infinity AIRCOM S9 for our Denon AVRX4200w on the bottom shelft, and an AIRCOM S7 for the DirecTV DVR and Roku which rest on the shelf above the receiver.

Receivers and amplifiers get hot, particularly when watching movies with 5.1/7.1 sound or listening at high volume levels. This heat causes component and joint failure prematurely ending the life of your amp. This is a great product and cheap insurance to protect against heat, particularly if your receiver is not well ventilated (i.e. in a cabinet). It detects the temperature level and switches on convection cooling (fan extraction) as needed. Everyone with a decent receiver should buy one. Note that the top venting models are quieter than the rear venting models.

Thank-you so much for this great cooling fan! I am using it with my Sony Strdh770 4 k receiver and it works beautifully! My receiver heats even in standby mode. I am running the fans in smart mode with 50 percent speed and everything is staying cool. When the receiver is on the fans speed up as needed, it is a great feature! This should extend the life of my receiver, thanks again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
