These are the only bags to use in my opinion for storing floss. Have a 6 inch piece left after working the area you just finished? Just put back in the bag. Stays clean, dont have to unwrap anything, and easy to see pieces that have been cut and separated. Store on 3 rings, then take just the colors I need to put on project ring. When finished, put back on storage rings, and can easily see if there are any colors I might need. Spill a drink? no problem, wipe the plastic bags with a sponge, and youre good to go. Floss stays clean and dry. Bags also last about 4-5 years depending on how much you use them. Hope they never quit making them.

Works well to contain my floss while using and for storage!

Im giving these 5 stars because they do what they are expected to do. I like being able to buy floss and store it quickly (without winding). I like being able to see my inventory easily (Im almost out of this one, have a lot of that one). It was easy to write the number on each bag. Cons (things to consider)... A bit high priced considering these are just plastic bags (akin to a lunch sandwich bag) with a hole and a space for writing the floss color number. I dont think Id spend $8 on 100 sandwich baggies. And consider that most people who do cross stitch need more than 100 bags (as there are over 400 DMC colors), total cost will likely run most people around $40. Storage of the filled bags. I purchased the metal rings and ended up with 8 rings of bags. How do you store these? They were just a large mountain of bags of floss on metal rings. Then I got an idea - I have metal shelves in my craft room, I purchased S rings, and hung each ring of bags on an S ring on one of the shelves. Worked out pretty good but if you dont have the ability to do this, you need to think about how you are going to store.

I got a bunch of these (in use) from my mom, who got them from my grandmother… they’re prob about 20 years old and still holding strong. They were mixed with some non- brand baggies , many of which I have had to replace due to splitting apart. I recently bought new ones. Slight changes, but I anticipate the over all same quality. Change one: the COLOR:_______ line is super close to the top of the white block. I guess they expect you to have little handwriting. Change two: the opening is now the same length on both sides of the baggie kind of making it slightly difficult to open. The old ones had uneven sides which made it easy t separate. Both very minor. And not enough to stop me from buying again

Very much like this product. I needed this package to finish storing and labeling the rest of my DMC embroidery floss.

I love these floss bags!!! I dont have to wind the floss onto bobbins (an extra step!!!) The floss doesnt get the crimps that come from bobbins. I can organize my floss numerically on big rings and know what I have when I start a new project and then easily add new colors to my hoard without reorganizing everything!

I use these bags all the time when I cross stitch. They are the best and easiest way to keep your floss sorted.

These bags are sturdy and the prefect size to store floss. Just a heads up to anyone buying this product even though in the picture on the bag there isnt a binder ring included to keep the bags together. I figured it wasnt included so that wont affect the rating of the product. However there is pre-punched holes if youd want to purchase one separately.

Like being able to separate the floss for my project (this one requires 73 different shades) into individual pouches. I store these in a box organized by number. Easy to store floss strands that I have left after I work an area. I don’t like that the bags seal in air. I don’t need the water proof ability since I store in a box and the excess air in the pouches make it difficult to easily arrange them— the excess air makes the pouches take up a lot of excess space. I solved this by putting a hole in the pouch to release the air
