Action Bag FL100 Floss-A-Way Organizer-3X5 100/Pkg

I have been looking for these for quite a while. The store does not carry them any more. I was so glad to see them on Amazon. It took two trys to get, as they were out of stock. These bags are of thinner plastic than my old ones, and they are a bit smaller than expected. They are about a half inch narrower than the old ones. However, they still work ok, and I am grateful to get them. Also, these bags contain more in the package than what was available at the store, which I like. As I am not a neat person, being able to put threads loose in a bag and still find them is great. I am not good with bobbins, you have to keep winding and unwinding thread to work with it.

I love these little bags! I actually don’t use them for floss too much but I use them for all kinds of things such as; English Paper Piecing cards, safety pins, buttons, beads and even my sewing machine presser feet (minus the walking foot). If you have a lot of hobbies, these are indispensable. The thing that I like about them the most though, is that they open at the side rather than the top. This makes it a lot easier to get things in and out of them. Many of the small bags you can get open at the top so, it makes it a bit harder to access items. If I’m being honest, I do think they are overpriced for tiny plastic bags. But, I’d buy them again because they are so handy and, for me, they’ve lasted a long time.

I recently took up cross-stitching as something to do on breaks at work. Its quick and I get a nice creative outlet! After one or two projects, though, my colorful pile of threads was getting out of hand. My quick projects were taking forever just to find the right colors! Enter the Floss-a-way bags. They are exactly what I needed! Convenient and sturdy, I could see these being useful for lots of art or other projects, such as storing beads, rubber bands, scrapbooking materials, etc. The plastic is actually strong enough to be used for things like LEDs, eyeglass screws or other nuts and bolts. Theyre great!

Love these to keep my needlework threads & fibers clean & dry. Naturally in time, the bags will need to be replaced due to natural wear, but I still love them!

Like being able to separate the floss for my project (this one requires 73 different shades) into individual pouches. I store these in a box organized by number. Easy to store floss strands that I have left after I work an area. I don’t like that the bags seal in air. I don’t need the water proof ability since I store in a box and the excess air in the pouches make it difficult to easily arrange them— the excess air makes the pouches take up a lot of excess space. I solved this by putting a hole in the pouch to release the air

Very handy. I use them for my cross stitch floss. I only wish the labeling area was a bit bigger, because some flosses need more space for their color, style, etc.

Can write name & # on bags. Then pur on project rings. Good price, good value.

I am not loving these storage bags they are thin and small they are not helping me to organise at all.

These bags are a wonderful addition to any embroidery kit. They’re small enough to hold a few loose threads and large enough to hold three or four skeins of floss. Pros: Easy to use, convenient place to store thread. Capable of holding more than one skein or bobbin at a time. Holes at the bottom for holding bags together, using the enclosed ring. Cons: The bags can be a little slippery, and the “easy write” surface for numbers often smears over time or in humid environments. The holes in the bottom sometimes allow things to slip through.
