I have used these Floss Away baggies for years, theyre the perfect size to store extra skeins of floss, scraps of ribbon or cording, or just about anything small enough to fit inside. The pre-punched hole at the top corner is also handy if you want to store a bunch of floss on a ring.

Have had quite a few of these bags just keep ordering more. They are nicer than the bags at the craft stores because of the hole placement. Doesnt matter to most people, but these bags have the hole on the out side of the zip lock. So nothing can get at floss on the inside.

Not my first time purchasing (my 3rd or 4th?) and they never disappoint! So handy to store DMC Floss and other stitching needs. Easy to see what you have and no need to transfer to spindles (which can fall all over!). I keep all floss I’m currently using, on their own rings, and the remainder on a global ring. There is a place on the bag to write the code and when on a ring, it’s very easy to find the floss you need. On individual projects, I can organize the bags by number or color order as listed in the instructions. Then put them on their own ring. I often have beads and other embellishments and keep them in their own bags (store beads in their original packaging, then in the bag!!) If you have a kit that comes with it’s own (un-numbered) floss and want to keep the extra, it’s very easy to find a DMC match by comparing through the bags. No match? Put it in its own bag and put it in the similar color section. (You can store the floss from kits by the same-manufacturer, on their own ring, if you wish. You never know when you might need more!). Another thing I recommend purchasing are the individual, hard plastic floss holders shaped like an animal. They hold about 20? colors of floss. So if you have a kit, organize each color of floss into a bag and put them in order on a ring. (If it comes all in a single length, cut off about 18 inches of floss and put the rest in its bag.) Then take what you have cut and slip-knot it on the animal organizer. So easy to organize and easy to carry around. Great product!

Ive been making Christmas stockings for my grandkids and its been such a chore to keep the floss organized while being easy to get to. These little bags have, by far, been the easiest for me to work with. Not only does it keep the floss from getting tangled, its so easy to get to it and it makes it easy to save those pieces that are long enough to use again. For me, they work much better than the little plastic bobbins (I got so tired of winding/unwinding the floss around those. I tried the little plastic box organizer and found it to be too easy for the floss hanging off those pegs to become tangled. These little bags solved all my problems and saved me time!

Not as good as my older floss-a-way bags, which had a red stripe reinforcing the closure and hold punch to prevent break through in the ring. Older ones were made of slightly thicker plastic too. Still love these bags. Perfect size for up to 6 skeins of embroidery floss and easy to tuck away leftover cuts to use on that line leftover cross stitch. Cheaper than some smaller sized “pill bags” with write on area that I found at Walgreens (Use for when I just have a single cut left over).

I recommend the floss bags. I bought some (with a 3 ring included) years ago, and they really help keep floss separated, organized, and neat. My only disappointment is that the description and photo indicated that they come with a 3 ring, and there is no ring. I could have bought the bags without the ring cheaper elsewhere.

I love them.i use them to put my embroidery floss in keeps them organized and from getting Tangled. I dont like the card organizers they come on they get Tangled up and when get low the thread falls out of hole. And sometimes the card holes rip.

I have used these bags for my floss for years and years. I love them. I write the color number on the outside of the bag and slide it on to a ring. I have 5 or 6 large rings full of bags with floss inside. I am a cross stitcher and have enjoyed my hobby for over 20 years. I can recommend these bags.

Seriously. I tried to leave and just use snack bags but they are so inferior to FlossA Way I came running back! NO, the other ones that have 2 holes in the bottom arent just as good and if you are persnickety, you want THESE BAGS. They hold a lot of embroidery thread and also are quite convenient for those single and short strands you have leftover at the end of a project.
