> 24 hourI bought to use with 2 POE cameras and this worked out of the box, just plugged the cables and the cameras was turned on. I will buy more cameras and see how it goes. I like the indicator led that shows what port is using POE and what port is using just LAN. If you are looking for a not so expensive POE switch, this is a great choice.

> 24 hourStarting with the packaging I felt the packaging was very well branded as well as user friendly to open and unbox. The presentation in the box for both the switch and the camera left nothing to be desired and was straightforward about knowing I have what I need to get started. First I unpacked the POE Switch. It felt very well built and was tastefully labeled. One of the first things I checked was to see if there was any way to mount the switch onto a wall. I did find the screws in the box however it took me a minute to grasp how it was meant to be mounted. The fact I must punch my own holes out of the switch is not something I feel very comfortable doing. As seen in the picture They dont pop out easily with your finger and I would be afraid of applying too much pressure and stabbing into the box and hitting some of the components. If in the future some rubber grommets or something similar that could be popped out were applied, it would make mounting it way more user friendly. It was very easy and quick to both hook up to my router and hook up to the camera. I enjoy the longer cord on the power supply to be able to position it where I want it and not worry about being horribly close to an outlet. I also like the indicators to show the status of each port. It connected almost instantaneously.

> 24 hourOrdered the Amcrest 8-Port POE Switch to accompany my recent Amcrest 4k AI POE Camera purchase. The package arrived quickly and came in a nice box. Inside the box was the switch, power cord, mounting screws, and instruction manual. Switch was packaged really well and safely inside. I really liked how plug and play the switch was to my existing network. I have a full Unifi network and connected the Amcrest POE switch to one of my managed switchs port. Then connected the Amcrest 4k AI POE Camera to the Amcrest POE switch. Within a minute I was able to find the POE camera in my Unifi dashboard and connect to it. Overall I think this is a great product at the right price point. Giving you a ton of PoE ports that work without having to configure a bunch of things. Its truly plug and play for most networks.

> 24 hourI’ve been needing a PoE switch for my Unifi AP and when I started using a PoE security camera I decided it was time to stop relying on my PoE Injector and get an actual PoE switch. This little switch is impressive, especially compared to other budget PoE switches I’ve looked at. It’s small, but very sturdy. It’s capable of powering a lot of standard PoE devices (i.e. APs, cameras, etc.). One thing that surprised me was that this switch didn’t include any mounting holes to attach it to a vertical surface, but it does come with mounting screws. I’m not sure if this is just a manufacturing defect with this particular switch or the screws are included for all switches and only select units have mounting holes. It’s nothing that some double sided tape or a few 3D printed brackets can’t fix.

> 24 hourThis is a really nice 802.11at/af switch. I pluggde in multiple devices and they all powered up and worked just fine. I did not like that it had no mounting slots. Also, it is advertised as a layer 2 management switch, which is 100% accurate. Unfortunately, that just means it is a basic switch that can only work across one subnet. If you are looking to VLAN off your cameras, youll have to pair it with a layer 3 switch and router. Note that it is not a managed switch. This is a standard dumb switch, with the ability to give great PoE.

> 24 hourWorked great out of the box. Power supply is good size for the power required. Many of these devices use small power supplies that fail over time. No power fluctuations, just works.

> 24 hourNot much to say, it is a simple dumb switch. It is a basic switch that provides PoE. I did not notice any dropped packets while using it. As far as I could find, it has no management features, which means no VLANing.

> 24 hourJust connect power and immediately connected. Couldnt be easier. Plug and play. I love the slim design as well, great for small spaces like mine. The labeling is great also. I would highly recommend. Robust switch.
