> 3 day- Looks sharp, clean, feels solid and has easy to read labels/text. - I plugged it in, moved my 4 existing cameras and plugged in the new IP8M-2493EW. All 4 of my other cameras booted right up. - With my old switch, I noticed a little lag loading individual cameras and that seems to have slightly improved. - I do wish it had optional ears to rack mount but I understand the size is smaller than 1U so it probably would never be an option on a switch smaller than 16 ports. - No issues so far with my 4 existing cameras or interaction with Blue Iris.

> 3 dayThis is a great unmanaged switch with eight POE ports, and the first port is a POE+, aka 802.3at port. POE+ is a fairly recent addition to the switching landscape, and can provide a LOT of power. A normal 802.3af port can provide up to 15 watts, whereas 802.3at can provide twice that. Some manufacturers make a switch that both provides POE and is powered BY POE. These take the 30 watts from the 802.3at port, use about 5 watts to power the switch, and then can power 1-2 other POE devices, like phones or an access point. So this switch really provides a lot of future-proofing. I use TP Link switches all over, both smaller non-POE switches, switches with some ports being POE, and now this switch with one beefy POE+ port and regular POE on the rest. It has a hard metal case, screws for wall mounting, and I highly recommend this switch!

Greater than one weekIve been using this for a week now with no issues. I like that you have the link light as well as the status light, and the POE+ is really nice for my PTZ camera. Overall I really like this unit as it is able to power all my cameras with no issue. I have 1 PTZ, and the rest are 5MP and 1 4k camera, no issues with power. Its nice having this over a power injector as it cuts down on the cables and isolates the cameras to 1 switch.

> 3 dayReceived this switch to power 5 amcrest cameras I have. It works well and do not notice any issues with speed or power. Only complaint I have is that it will not power my POE TP-Link access point that my old POE switch would, but it works great on the cameras.

> 3 dayNot much to say, it is a simple dumb switch. It is a basic switch that provides PoE. I did not notice any dropped packets while using it. As far as I could find, it has no management features, which means no VLANing.

> 3 dayThis 8-Port Amcrest POE has performed so well, that I have purchased a second one. Plug and play that works without any extra steps. Plug in LAN, power up, and go.

> 3 dayThis switch couldnt be easier to use! I bought it to work with an Amcrest POE camera and Blue Iris. I plugged the camera in and was off and running! The camera connected to my home network and I was able to start setting it up right away. The switch hardware is very sturdy and made of a strong metal material. It looks like great craftsmanship. I would expect this to last a long time, and I dont think I need to worry about a thing. Its great having 8 POE switch ports available, and since Ill be using this with my Amcrest cameras (or any POE cameras), I have lots of capacity and room for expansion. It mounted great inside my smart home panel. Its slim enough that it doesnt take up alot of space.
