Greater than one weekPOE devices received power like they should and other network devices connected as standard devices. Seems well built and very solid.

> 3 dayThis is a really nice 802.11at/af switch. I pluggde in multiple devices and they all powered up and worked just fine. I did not like that it had no mounting slots. Also, it is advertised as a layer 2 management switch, which is 100% accurate. Unfortunately, that just means it is a basic switch that can only work across one subnet. If you are looking to VLAN off your cameras, youll have to pair it with a layer 3 switch and router. Note that it is not a managed switch. This is a standard dumb switch, with the ability to give great PoE.

> 3 dayStarting with the packaging I felt the packaging was very well branded as well as user friendly to open and unbox. The presentation in the box for both the switch and the camera left nothing to be desired and was straightforward about knowing I have what I need to get started. First I unpacked the POE Switch. It felt very well built and was tastefully labeled. One of the first things I checked was to see if there was any way to mount the switch onto a wall. I did find the screws in the box however it took me a minute to grasp how it was meant to be mounted. The fact I must punch my own holes out of the switch is not something I feel very comfortable doing. As seen in the picture They dont pop out easily with your finger and I would be afraid of applying too much pressure and stabbing into the box and hitting some of the components. If in the future some rubber grommets or something similar that could be popped out were applied, it would make mounting it way more user friendly. It was very easy and quick to both hook up to my router and hook up to the camera. I enjoy the longer cord on the power supply to be able to position it where I want it and not worry about being horribly close to an outlet. I also like the indicators to show the status of each port. It connected almost instantaneously.

> 3 dayThis Amcrest PoE switch was purchased to replace another brand PoE switch that I was having issues with. The previous switch had 3 PoE cameras connected and one camera would often have connection and/or power issues. Even after replacing the camera, the issues persisted leading me to believe it was the PoE switch and not the camera. I now have this new switch set up with the 3 PoE cameras that were previously connected to the old switch PLUS one additional camera (a new Amcrest 8K PoE camera) for a total of 4 and I have encountered no problems and all cameras are now working perfectly. I have the new Amcrest 8K PoE camera connected to port one on the Amcrest PoE switch. Port 1 on the switch supports Hi-PoE which provides up to 60w. Ports 2-8 are PoE+ (802.3at) and will provide up to 30w of power to each port. The switch can provide up to 96w total. The switch easy to set up, pretty much just plug and play. When PoE devices are connected the switch automatically recognizes them as PoE. Likewise, you can plug in non-PoE devices and they will work just fine and power will not be sent which could potentially damage a device. As far as network speed, right now all cameras are connected at full 1000Mbps and there are no noticeable bottlenecks or speed issues. All cameras are used with SecuritySpy software and SecuritySpy is able to find and connect to all the cameras on the network that are connected to this switch with no issues. Id definitely recommend this PoE switch which will help future proof your PoE home setup with the 96w power total plus the support of Hi-PoE. I compared this to a few other brands such as TP-Link and Netgear and both of those brands were more expensive and had less features such as only 4 PoE ports or 53w or 64w Max (instead of 96w) and no Hi-PoE support. Overall very happy with this Amcrest PoE switch and would definitely recommend it for use with Amcrest (or other) PoE cameras.
