This switch couldnt be easier to use! I bought it to work with an Amcrest POE camera and Blue Iris. I plugged the camera in and was off and running! The camera connected to my home network and I was able to start setting it up right away. The switch hardware is very sturdy and made of a strong metal material. It looks like great craftsmanship. I would expect this to last a long time, and I dont think I need to worry about a thing. Its great having 8 POE switch ports available, and since Ill be using this with my Amcrest cameras (or any POE cameras), I have lots of capacity and room for expansion. It mounted great inside my smart home panel. Its slim enough that it doesnt take up alot of space.

Used with 6 Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-28MM cameras works great!

Just connect power and immediately connected. Couldnt be easier. Plug and play. I love the slim design as well, great for small spaces like mine. The labeling is great also. I would highly recommend. Robust switch.

POE devices received power like they should and other network devices connected as standard devices. Seems well built and very solid.

This is a really nice 802.11at/af switch. I pluggde in multiple devices and they all powered up and worked just fine. I did not like that it had no mounting slots. Also, it is advertised as a layer 2 management switch, which is 100% accurate. Unfortunately, that just means it is a basic switch that can only work across one subnet. If you are looking to VLAN off your cameras, youll have to pair it with a layer 3 switch and router. Note that it is not a managed switch. This is a standard dumb switch, with the ability to give great PoE.

It did not slow down my internet upload/download speeds. Great value for the money supplies power to all my cameras with one cable.
