The ARB twin compressor arrived in perfect condition. Read reviews of people getting pumps that had been returned..visible imperfections etc. Mine was perfect. The complaint I have was the driver just left it outside on a dock.Not even close to my business.We have Amazon deliveries all the time. they always bring them to our door. thankfully someone saw it and brought it to us.

To be honest, I was surprised with all the great reviews now that I have it. On some vehicles it’s easy to mount, but took innovation on my Dodge Ram 2500. With how popular this company is, it seems logical to argue they would have a solution for almost all Overlanding trucks. Additionally, the wiring directions were horrible, and I had to watch a million YouTube videos. I’m not great at wiring but I’m def not bad at all. The problem lies with wiring the toggle switch, because the wires that come with it are really short (about 2’) and it is difficult to wire. Most people wire the toggle switch into the fuse box (because of how difficult it is to wire it as the instructions call for) which required me to have to go to auto part store for special adaptors to do this operation as well as more wires to extend their length. In my opinion, they could have done a far far better job at creating more user friendly instructions for the DIYer person and included wiring components/solutions for all sorts of vehicles because that stuff is cheap. Be prepared because it won’t be a quick wire up and out project unless you do a lot of this type of work. Oh and to top it all of, it didn’t even come with an adaptor to hook up an female air coupling with the pressure switch. If you don’t know what I am talking about then look into it because you’ll need a special component that they sell in their additional tire inflator kit. This whole thing stinks because the compressor seems amazing and works well, but the experience of having to get a bunch of extra stuff to put it in the car was mediocre. Get it together ARB and serve your customers right.

I’ve ordered $10 items off of Amazon their box better than this $500 air compressor. Hopefully ARB made these strong because this box looks abused.

Added this air compressor to my Jeep to be used to inflate my tire after off roding. Works great! UPDATE: 9-18-2022 DISAPPOINTING!!!! Have been using it now for over year to air up the Jeep tires after offloading and it is overheating after airing up each tire from 18 to 34 psi. Been having to wait for the motor to cool and reset in between each tire. Going to look for other alternatives for air before it leaves us stranded with low tire pressure. Glad I dont have air lockers Im using this for.

The compressor seems nice I’ve only been able to bench test it do to a faulty wiring harness I recieved, sadly was only found out once all the wires were ran and compressor was mounted. Amazon will only let me send the whole thing in and not just the harness, lucky me the harness alone is 83$! Wish I could contact actual seller and yes double checked all wiring and tested fuse and relay both read proper on a multimeter!

This air compressor works really well. It puts out a lot of air really quickly. I use it on my 4x4 rig to run my ARB air lockers and to air up my tires. It draws a lot of power, so don’t use it for extended periods of time with the truck off. But other than that it’s perfect.

The ARB twin compressor is impressive. I had a a Viar in my old Jeep and it did it’s job but I wanted a higher end compressor so this seemed like a good choice. It dropped my air up time from 16 minutes to only 5. That’s fantastic. I thought that the install was pretty straightforward. I used a mount made specifically for my TJ and have it over my engine. Wiring it up was really easy with ARB’s harness and switch. The only things I didn’t like, was that there are no fittings included to connect to an air hose and that I had to use an extension nipple to get past the cover to connect a quick disconnect.

Heavy duty. Tested putting the bead on a 33”x10.5”r17 and it did great. Fills tires fast. Major complaint is the instructions suck. I got the air up kit too and ended up running pipe out of a splitter on top in my GX470.
