This small, condensed air conditioner works very well. However; I do have a few issues. The water reservoir is not large enough to hold the amount of water needed to cool a bedroom during the night. Upon waking, the unit is still running, but with no water. It would be great if it had an automatic shut off so that when the water runs out, the unit would shut off. It also leaks! Not just a little bit, but a LOT! My husband placed a plate underneath it to catch the water because it almost ruined his dresser. We purchased 2 units & they both have the same issues. They work alright, but perhaps the design could use a few tweaks.

Works great as a personal cooler. My AC went out months ago and its not in the budget to fix. So this personal cooler works well in tandem with a fan. Chills well even on lowest setting. Be warned that sometimes it leaks the water like a sieve. If you try and move it all with water in it, the water will leak out. Sometimes water will leak out of it if there is any left in there after use as well. I have it set up in a small plastic container because it leaks. Freezing the filter like it suggests doesnt really seem to affect the coldness levels coming out of it. I just run cool tap water into it and onto the filter and it gets chilly. Filter can be kind of janky fitting into the slot.

Our glass surround office building is waiting on a part for the air conditioning system. The office gets miserably hot. We have all been buying fans. I found this and thought Id try it. This keeps my area nice and cool and is sooooo much better than a fan that is just pushing around warm air. It basically cools the air using ice, so if you cant easily add ice, you may not be as proud of it. Luckily we have an ice machine so I add ice twice a day.

Exactly that. Other small evaporative coolers including the previous generation have not had a water puddling issue but this one does. You essentially need to put it on a tray and keep it way from sensitive furniture, art, flooring etc. Poor engineering in my book.

Believe me I know and understand HVAC, I purchased this unit because the marking guy made it sound more powerful than it really is. I tried using ICE and very little water and vice versa, It cools a small space directly around it...Approx 5ft. but will not cool a SUV where you could leave your dog in it even for a short time. The unit is quality but has very limited cooling capacity.

  • I bought these for myself and I thought they were great at first but soon after the stickers began peeling thats past maybe 1 week so that sucked

However if your a family youll be fighting on who has the box. The ac is light weight but its only for one person theyll be comfortable not perfect for a family of 4 like mine I recommend you buy Two

Works well for the first couple of times, lightweight and easy to from my bedroom to office, not effective enough particularly in hot weather and plastic made of looks not elegant enough.

Cute, Compact design, uses a large computer fan to blow air. So if you don’t mind sitting next to your desktop computer while you sleep… otherwise after reading the other reviews the water tank is small.
