Kiddo is a hard core gamer. He has the last real Alienware laptop (and 18 that isnt so portable) and its a beast. I wasnt sure this lightweight alternative was going to be able to compare but wow does it ever. And its light! Its fast, super fast graphics, that move smoothly through the games without lag. Battery lasted through an all night sortie so Im thinking thats a great thing! Last thing I want to hear is a meltdown that the battery died just when he was going to kill the boss at the end of the game. Overall Im super impressed!

Buena laptop, no encontrarás nada igual por ese precio, no tuve inconvenientes con el envío, su pantalla se ve bien además de que los 120 Hz hace sentirla aún más fluida, el teclado no tiene nada especial, la carcasa se siente de calidad, el touchpad no es muy bueno pero con un mouse se soluciona, la batería tampoco dura mucho pero es algo que se espera en este tipo de laptop.

UPDATE [Feb 2 2020]: Asus serviced my laptop in response to the touchpad issue that persisted through online troubleshooting. The turnaround time was acceptable, and their communication through the process was very good. Unfortunately, the touchpad issue persists. I have now found several threads online about this issue, and it appears to be a design problem. My suspicion (shared by some online) is that it is caused by radio frequency interference. Apparently the touchpad is susceptible to interference and ASUS does not shield the touchpad as many other manufacturers do. The laptop still performs well and is fine in all other aspects. If you use an external pointing device as many do, you will like this laptop, but be aware that I have done everything I can do to get this fixed, and in the end the touchpad is not usable for me.

It was a smart buying

I was looking for a decent rig I could edit digital pics on when not at home or when I simply dont want to be chained to the desk. I was also looking for a decent machine to avoid adulting with. I upgraded the ram from 8 to 32 and added a 1tb SSD with ZERO effort. The screen is not only about as accurate as they come but can be viewed from almost any angle. Performance? Way beyond expectations... Blew me away. Way more laptop than the pricetag would suggest. Even the relatively short battery life is better than I thought it would be for the performance this little bad boy pumps out. Id definitely recommend this guy to anyone looking for a machine that operates well above average in every regard. Nice work Asus!

El equipo llego sin problemas y mucho antes de la fecha esperada, excelente servicio por parte de DHL y por parte de amazon.

Esta es mi opinión tras 1 año con el equipo, pues lo compré porque necesitaba una laptop para la escuela y qué también pudiera jugar hace ya 1 año, al principio tenía un error que todos comentan y me consta sobre los pantallazos azules, forzabas un poco el equipo y se apaga, pero con un cambio de software lo arreglé, luego de un tiempo me di cuenta que el micrófono en los audífonos no funcionan, el de la laptop si, pero de audífonos no. Probé con varios y ninguno lo detectaba, tuve que comprarme un adaptador de hyperX para poder usar mi hesdset, y por último de la nada un día salió esa mancha en la pantalla en la que es verdaderamente molesto verla, espero que no empeore, digo de la nada porque no puede ser golpeada ya que no la muevo de mi escritorio. La garantía es complicada por ser un producto de importación, sin embargo igual el equipo te obliga a cambiarle componentes como las RAM y los almacenamientos por lo que ya se abrió. De haber sabido que iba a ser de esa manera no la hubiese comprado.

Great all around laptop, good for casual gaming and great for work.
