Quit working after 18 months. This is not a laptop that has been treated badly and nothing physically happened to it. I suspect that the Asus BIOS updated has basically bricked it. It will not make it past the bios screen, the windows recovery tools, including the reset to factory defaults, are unable to do anything. My son liked it a lot, but $700 for 18 months just isnt worth it.

In order to access the battery for this device, you have to unscrew the entire backplate of the laptop. While unscrewing the backplate you start to notice the cheapness of the screws and threads. My threads broke and the screws dont fit properly in the threads that are still hanging on. Other than that the laptop runs well.

When I first got this laptop, I had just gotten a decent paycheck so I wanted something to just game on for basic games, mostly Black Ops 3 and Minecraft and stuff like that. At the time, this laptop was a bit cheaper than what it apparently is being sold for now. For solo gaming, this laptop works perfectly fine. It could easily run Skyrim, I run Minecraft with decent fps using some pretty high graphics settings, and Black Ops 3 (especially custom maps, which I typically play on) runs at 75+ fps with no troubles.

La laptop llegó antes del tiempo programado, que fué algo que me sorprendió. Viene en una discreta caja de cartón sin nada mas que el logo de Asus y el modelo, TUF. Al desempacar y encender, el windows se comienza a configurar y es cosa de seguir los pasos de instalación. En lo visual es imponente, pantalla ips de refresh de 120hz, teclado iluminado (viene en inglés, asi que no trae ñ) un trackpad de mouse de buen tamaño y sensible al tacto.

Mine broke after a year of using it after the top screen went unhinged. This tuf isnt tough at all, dont waste your money.

the unit is more rigid and military standard tested which i clearly agree . the keys are very good in typing playing etc. The only draw back is the wifi card which constantly drops due to driver issue . most of the units come with Realtek drivers which is wifi adapter and not good as intel wifi drivers.

Just got this today, and I already love it. I wish it had a longer battery life (1 hr 40 min). As far as graphics and gaming goes, this is good for entry level gamers like myself

It’s an ok laptop, It’s not the best for gaming but not the worse either. You’ll get around 60-90 fps while gaming (which is really sad) and you the battery life oh no, It last less than 3 hours. I usually play it while plugged in but overall, is a decent laptop
