Athalon Everything Boot Bag/Backpack - Ski - Snowboard

Very durable without being too heavy. Does the job and then some. Word of advice, order a unique color even if not your favorite. I saw this bag three times on my recent trip and accidentally picked up the wrong black bag not knowing it was not mine. Luckily the other person checked and realized they had mine.

Used this bag on a recent heli trip where they limited the amount of luggage we could bring. I fit my boots, helmet and a good amount of clothes in here. You can easily get away with packing this and a ski bag for a weekend trip. Boots have a separate compartment which is ideal for the end of the day when they are wet; i believe they have grommets to let out the water but double check me on that. I found the same if not more features on this bag than the more expensive name brands if you are OK with not having brands define you. The material is very durable and well sealed. Case in point, my nasty cat peed on the bag one day along with everything else in my house and thankfully it didnt penetrate the material, I just hosed it off...bad cat, good bag.

This bag was a Christmas gift, so I didnt take a good look at it and wrapped the Amazon box. Only this weekend I got to see it, and was disappointed to find out that it wasnt even close to the color that I ordered... The bag seems nice but it was highly disappointing.

I just received this bag today and, unfortunately, the zipper isnt actually stitched into the bag all the way around on the main compartment. I was hoping to use it this weekend, but instead I will wait for a replacement from Amazon. I got two of this bag (different colors) and the other is fine. This bag holds a TON of stuff, its easy to fit in a pair of womans boots and two helmets. I guess time will tell if it holds up or if this I come to regret buying--and bothering to go through the process of exchanging--this bag. Update: the replacement bag arrived with the zipper completely unstitched in the same part of the bag (and barely attached all the way around the main compartment) so Amazon must have a bad batch of this White out color. The Batik color I also purchased is stitched well in the zippers. That bag is currently holding womens boots and helmet and an additional 2 youth helmets with ease--it has great capacity and is comfortable to carry. Update 2: the replacement for the replacement arrived. The zipper is just barely stitched the whole way around the bag. I tugged on the zipper to try to get an idea of whether it is going to fail catastrophically right away, and it seems mostly okay, so Im going to keep it. The Batik color bag I also purchased from Amazon has held up through several ski trips and the White out bag has done OK so far over 7-8 ski trips. I use one to carry womens boots, helmet/goggles, snowpants, sweatshirt, hats, mittens and the other to carry 2 youth boots, 2 youth helmet/goggles, and snowpants, hats, mittens for the pair. They are really handy for lugging all the pieces around, especially with kids.

The boot bag is made with heavy duty material and zippers. Boots go in the side pockets and are vented to help with moisture. Outer gear such as helmet, shin guards, goggles, ski pants, gloves, etc. all fit in the large center compartment. There is also a center pocket on top for smaller items such as cell phones, keys, etc. There is also a small zipper compartment on the outside of each boot compartment. The backpack straps can be tucked away into a zipper compartment on the back for airline travel. I also purchased the Marker Everything Boot Bag for my son. It turns out that the Marker bag is actually made by Athalon so these bags are very similar in features and construction (nearly identical). He is on a ski team so the bag gets used 4-5 days a week. The bag is holding up well.

I got this for my 9-year-old daughters ski things. It holds her boots, helmet, goggles, hats, gloves, etc. and her ski clothes - snow pants and jacket, and there is still room for more. It is a bit big for her, but she can still carry it pretty comfortably. When emptied, it fits in the larger-sized lockers at the ski hills. It is a nice, durable bag.

I needed a bag that could carry a pair of size 28.5 ski boots, plus helmet and miscellaneous gear like gloves, balaclavas, and assorted bits of ski accessories. Yet not a huge duffle which would be hard to carry around. This bag met all of my requirements, and seems to be well made and sturdy. I did notice however that the upper carry handle attachment to the bag was a bit flimsy. After a week of daily trips to the ski area however, it seems to be holding up. Also, even though equipped with sturdy back straps, I find that the bulky bag is difficult to use as a back pack when fully loaded. I usually put it over one shoulder which is OK for a short walk from the lodge to my car, but not for a longer trudge to a more distant parking area or through a busy airport.

Arrived very quickly right after the holidays as stated. The bag seems of high quality, has a lot of room for boots and other gear such as helmet, gloves and goggles, and it fits as a carry-on. I can’t say much about durability yet as we just purchased this. We also love the colors. It is comfortable to carry.

I bought a boot bags for my entire family. These are the best. They are big enough to hold everything. There are lots of pockets to help keep it organized. The boots fit in it just fine with all the gear. Its a backpack, but there are handles on top & in the center to make carrying it a breeze. A+

This bag is amazing! It will hold all of your stuff - boots, jacket, helmet, ski pants and gloves, goggles and misc items. The middle compartment is huge! There are also 4 misc pockets - 2 on the flap and 2 on the side for more storage. The back is well padded if you want to use it as a backpack, but you can also store those straps inside a 5th back pocket (so they aren’t hanging) if you want to carry it with one of the 2 handles. I got the batik color which is not the bright blue that is shown, it is more of a navy (which I happen to like better). When you click to look at the various descriptions/pictures, that is the true color.
