Greater than one weekFor the money, this is a great option for carrying your boots and gear. its roomy enough for size 12 boots, helmet, goggles, jacket, pants, long underwear, 2 pairs of gloves and more. its ideal for day/weekend trips via the car and occassional plane trips. if youre a heavy destination traveler via plane, i might look at different options from transpack since they have wider straps and beefier handles which will withstand checked bagging better. i have both packs and prefer the athlon for local trips. it has better back padding and is more comfortable in general. Transpack is more rugged and optimum for plane travel but much more expensive.

> 3 dayAfter taking a few years off to start our family, my wife and I are back on the slopes and teaching our kids to ski. With not only our own gear, but also the stuff the kids cant carry themselves, good bags make all the difference! The quality is top notch, and I got great points for the color and pattern choice. The ONLY reason for not giving 5-starts... I would have liked some kind of mesh or net on top of the bag to hold a helmet. Placing the helmet inside the bag with the boots (and the socks, and the gloves, and the goggles, and... and... and...) just seems like a bad idea.

> 3 dayI purchased this bag four years ago and it’s held up to weekly use during ski season. The only signs of wear and tear I see are the gromits on the drain holes for the boot compartments are a bit rusty, but that’s on me for throwing in ski boots that still have ice and snow on them and not doing anything other than hanging the bag on my gear wall to dry. The bag easily holds my boots, ski helmet, goggles in their hard case, multiple pairs of gloves and mittens, neck warmers, hats, extra socks, hand warmers… all the extras you might wish for to adjust to changing conditions and maximize your enjoyment of a day on the slopes can be packed into this bag. It’s not a great backpack but it gets the job done if you have to haul it from the parking lot to baggage check and from baggage claim to your rental car or other transit. Mine is holding up to my abuse and neglect well and I will likely buy another if my current one ever needs to be replaced. I even took it along when chaperoning a week long school environmental camp in November and other parents commented “that is an awesome winter gear bag. Where do I get one?”

> 3 dayOrdered this for my daughter (age 10) and a different bag for my wife. This bag is far superior to the other. Fabric and zippers are both heavy-duty and look as if they will last a very long time and take a lot of abuse. Immediately returned the other boot bag and ordered a second one of these for my wife. This will be a bit large for the 10 year old but shell grow into it. Only critical comment: The colors are darker than they appear on my screen. I was expecting almost a baby-blue color, but its more of a steel blue. The gray is also darker. Much more practical colors for a ski boot bag, but if you are expecting a pale powder blue you may be disappointed.

> 3 dayReally sturdy and well made. Fit all my ski gear with no problems (and a little room left): boots (26.5), helmet, goggles, gloves, pants, XC skiing pants/shirt/hat/gloves and base layer. I like the that shoulder straps can be hidden inside.

Greater than one weekI gave this to my sweetheart, who is a ski instructor, and he is SO happy with it! Its easy to get your boots in the side compartments and there is loads of room in the center section for taking extra layers of clothing for changes in weather or for when you need another set of clothes to change into after work - coat included! The whole center top zips open, so it is easy to pack too. The handles on the top and front are sturdy and a good size that you can grab easily with gloves on. The back pack straps are padded and easy to slip on when you are alone. This bag also sits upright when empty, which makes it easier to load the middle without boots than some other bags.

> 3 dayThis bag is amazing! It will hold all of your stuff - boots, jacket, helmet, ski pants and gloves, goggles and misc items. The middle compartment is huge! There are also 4 misc pockets - 2 on the flap and 2 on the side for more storage. The back is well padded if you want to use it as a backpack, but you can also store those straps inside a 5th back pocket (so they aren’t hanging) if you want to carry it with one of the 2 handles. I got the batik color which is not the bright blue that is shown, it is more of a navy (which I happen to like better). When you click to look at the various descriptions/pictures, that is the true color.

> 3 dayPurchased two different bags for my kids - my son wanted an rust/orange on and this bag fit the bill. I have to say that compared to another brand of boot bag that shall remain nameless (starts and ends with a T) this is a GREAT bag. Plenty big and the handles are reinforced. I can see my son being able to carry a days plus worth of gear and his helmet in the pocket of this bag. I was very surprised how much could be put into this bag. Time will tell if it holds up but all indications are that this will serve him well for years to come. I am ordering one for myself today.
