Yup, good face wash. I was one of those people that thought I was battling acne since my teen years. As it turns out, I dont have acne, I have sensitive skin--when I started treating it like sensitive skin, this amazing thing happened: it stopped rebelling against me! Current regimen: Wear long hair up or with a headband most days. Make sure to wash/rinse skin immediately after any exercise. Use exfoliating sponge daily. Wash with Basis in the AM Use Witch Hazel as a toner (Thayers) Use Fruit of the Earth Aloe as a moisturizer Thats it! Im now confidently make-up free most days :) I hope this helps someone that is struggling with their acne prone sensitive skin while reading reviews...

I absolutely love this face wash and have been using it for YEARS. Back when it was still sold in stores. This is the first time I’ve had anything wrong as it truly might be one of the best face washes out there. This time, however, when I order my 3-pack, I realized that the smell was VERY different. It did not smell like it’s typical light refreshing lemongrass scent. Maybe I got a bad batch but it smells like grape children’s medicine. So not good. I thought maybe my batch expired because all three smelled the same but there’s is no expiration date on any. I’m a little disappointed because I truly sing this face washes praises. Please check on the formula for the scent you typically use because something is different.

This reminds me of Clinique - I am absolutely in love with the scent, the delicate soft of the product, and the way it leaves my face feeling clean and moisturized.

For the price and quality, this is a must buy. I have sensitive skin that can break out in acne and if really bad, cystic acne. This facial wash is light and really foams well. I use it after using a makeup removing wipe and an astringent. You can probably do so without those pre-steps but since I have oily combination skin I tend to have multiple layer of makeup on for coverage. If you dont have problematic skin like mine you can probably just wash this wash on its own. My skin always feels refreshed and clean after that without leaving a waxy feeling that some facial washes do. My face also feels nice and soft and really absorbs the serum I put on next. It actually works with the kbeauty products I use. It shall definitely stay part of my beauty rotation.

Ive used countless types of face washes and I always go back to Basis. I first started using Basis over 10 years ago in college. It smells great, its light, leaves your skin clean, takes make-up off easily. It leaves a light refreshing scent, nothing strong. I feel like my skin is actually clean after using this, no residue, no tightness in skin or burning. I also have sensitive skin and this has never irritated me. This is my go to face wash and I order it in bulk, Im so scared they will stop making it as I no longer see it in stores, I hope not though. So glad Amazon carries it.

One of the best face washes I have used. I have been using this face wash for years. It leaves the face cleaning really well without any harsh chemical feeling. Improved my skin condition a bit, not significantly noticeable. However, the face wash does the job really well. You can feel your face clean. My face burns with other face washes but not with this one.

I used this product years ago, but couldn’t find it in my area for the longest time. My skin feels so clean and I love how well it washes off too. Thank god I found it again..

I’ve been using this product for years and I love it. Gives my face a nice clean feeling, doesn’t dry your skin, gets off makeup, good for people with slightly oily or sensitive skin. Very light scent. I order this through Amazon now, not because it’s easy, but this product over the years has been increasingly difficult to find in stores. Ok price for the product.

This is an awesome basic face cleanser. I love how it smells, lathers, rinses, and how my face feels afterwards. Skin is clean and soft. This cleanser is said to be for normal to oily skin. But if you have sensitive skin that is not SUPER sensitive, Im sure you can use this. Thats the kind of skin I have. I tried other formulas that are made for sensitive skin (Cetaphil) and found those to be too gentle that it didnt give me the clean feeling I wanted. This cleanser took off my make-up and really gave me balanced results--dry parts were cleaned without over drying and oily parts were cleaned and unwanted oils were removed. I stopped using this cleanser for a while only because I couldnt find it in stores anymore. Im so glad that Amazon carries it and at an even better price than before since Im using Subscribe and Save. I highly recommend this cleanser. I only wished it came in a more convenient pump dispenser. Last note: Make sure you do not get this stuff in your eyes. I feel like when it gets in my eyes, its more painful than when I get shampoo/soap suds in my eyes. It might be effects of the minty botanicals... but just heed my caution.

Do your skin a favor and buy this. It is soap and chemical free. It removes all of my makeup, even water proof. I have sensitive and oily skin. This product has helped immensely. I especially loved it when I was sunburnt, it never burned my skin, if anything it helped it heal faster. It doesnt burn your eyes. I would use this on children. It is that gentle.
