I have very sensitive skin with moderate-severe rosacea. This face wash has consistently given me the best results over most of my adult life. I have tried multiple more expensive washes & treatments & I always end up coming back to this wash. Not only that but I regularly recommend it to people asking about new products. It is very difficult to find in stores as of the last handful of years. I am very thankful to Amazon to continuing to stock & sell the product. It always arrives well packaged. The set of 3 last me multiple months. It only takes a small amount to feel like my face is clean. I dont rave about much but I love this cleanser!

I absolutely love this face wash and have been using it for YEARS. Back when it was still sold in stores. This is the first time I’ve had anything wrong as it truly might be one of the best face washes out there. This time, however, when I order my 3-pack, I realized that the smell was VERY different. It did not smell like it’s typical light refreshing lemongrass scent. Maybe I got a bad batch but it smells like grape children’s medicine. So not good. I thought maybe my batch expired because all three smelled the same but there’s is no expiration date on any. I’m a little disappointed because I truly sing this face washes praises. Please check on the formula for the scent you typically use because something is different.

With the recent ban of the antibiotic triclosan in acne face wash products, I needed to find a replacement for my Nivea face wash the worked great for my type of skin. After doing some research, I found some posts of some people in the same predicament that mentioned they found this product as a good replacement. It was inexpensive so I gave it a shot, and so far it seems to be working well! It cleans and leaves the skin feeling moist and not dried out. It has a nice light natural fragrance, which only last while cleaning, I dont notice it once I dry my face. I am usually sensitive to most items with fragrance, but this one didnt bother me at all. It is a great price and works, I just hope that Amazon keeps selling this product for a long time! This isnt billed as an acne wash, so I dont think it has an antibiotic in it, so for some people it may not be strong enough for their skin condition, but since it is relatively inexpensive it is worth a try, I believe a lot of acne is caused by overly dry skin which causes more oil production, so I think this product helps by keep the skin moist after cleaning.

Love this face wash, Ive used it for 10+ years

When the skin on my face started reacting negatively to a ton of different products, I decided to switch from Basis soap to this gentler and easier to rinse off face wash. It has made all the difference! It does contain sulfates and silicones, though, two ingredients I wish Basis would remove. Still, despite my sensitivity to dimethicone (silicone), I dont have a reaction to this gel, probably because I rinse it off so quickly and thoroughly. Im waiting for the day, however, when I can no longer use it, and it will be a sad day indeed. My face always feels fresh and not-too-dry after using it. I considered giving this five-stars because I use it everyday and keep ordering it; however, the presence of dimethicone worries me. Ill keep using this wash until I can do it no longer. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I used this product years ago, but couldn’t find it in my area for the longest time. My skin feels so clean and I love how well it washes off too. Thank god I found it again..

I bought this from CVS years ago, and I have not stopped purchasing it it for 10 years now. Takes all my makeup off and makes my face feels so soft. I have acne prone and sensitive skin. I would recommend this to EVERYONE!!

I dont normally write reviews, but I feel as though this product deserves one. After months of trying to find what works for my skin, I came across Basis. I figured why not try it since Ive tried everything else. Well it has been 8 months and I am obsessed with this product. The gel texture, its smell and the lightweight is just what I was looking for. It has cleared my skin tremendously. I use it twice a day. In the morning I will use just my hands, but at night I will use a spin brush, both times followed by an oil moisturizer (I prefer to use gel/oil/clear products). No pics to show, but I am a woman of color, late 20s who has oily skin - if that helps.
