I’ve tried several plant & whey protein powders & keep coming back to this. Great flavor, mixes easily b& makes delicious smoothies. I wanted to love a plan protein powder because I basically eat vegetarian, I just couldn’t stand the taste. This one is 100% whey isolate which is better absorbed than concentrate, made from grass fed cows & leaves no aftertaste. All I add is a nut milk, banana or blueberries & some almond butter.

This protein powder has a good taste, mixes well in a blender, and has high ratings for being free of chemicals and heavy metals. After some reading, I found this is one of the lowest cholesterol whey protein powder that was listed on the web. The puori brand one was the highest rated for quality. However that has more cholesterol. I bought this one and have been having it every few days after a hard workout. Not a lot of sugar and and no artificial sweeteners, which is good (to me. ) I will buy it again. I may try an unflavored protein. I would like to try the organic biochem, but it is much more expensive. Some notes: the scoop is buried in the canister and can be hard to find. The canister top seals well, so it stays fresh. If you don’t mix protein powders you probably don’t know that they don’t mix well in cold water or anything ice cold. Room temp for the best mixing. I use ice cold skim milk in a blender for 2 minutes with half a boiled green plantain, 2 tbsp peanut butter powder, 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt, half cup of Ezekiel cereal and the biochem whey. About 65 to 70 grams of protein. Mixes smooth.

I was worried it would have an aftertaste and it definitely does not. Good vanilla flavor.

I want to give it 3.5 stars but cant. My intentions on buying this product was not to build muscle mass, Im not especially a heavy lifter and not looking to bulk up. I wanted something I could use after running, swimming, and lifting to help muscle recovery. I picked the 28 oz natural flavor of this brand because, from the research I had done, it had one of the lowest sugar/carbs and fat/cholesterol per serving. It also doesnt have any artificial sweeteners (stevia, sweet and low, etc.) So Ive been taking this after lifting, and also after running to help my legs recover more quickly. Ive been using it for about a month and a half and so far here is what I have noticed. RECOVERY - To be 100% honest, I do not see any different in recovery time between when I do and do not drink the formula after working out, or if I do its generally pretty negligible. MUSCLE BUILDING - Ive actually been working out because I want to lose about 15 lbs and get back in shape, I wasnt intending on bulking up but I have noticed that generally my muscles are getting bigger overall (which also means even though Im losing fat, Im not losing as much weight.) MIXING - I got the neutral flavor which has only a slight vanilla flavor, and is not particularly sweet, so it mixes well with fat free milk or even orange juice. Generally I did experience some of the clumping that other people have also, but this only occurs when you try to mix too much powder with too little liquid. I usually use a 1/2 to 3/4 scoop with about 10 ounces of milk or juice. Most of the time there is more clumping when mix with a spoon, but when I use a chopstick it occurs to less degree and less often. SIDE EFFECT(?) - The contain says that there is no Phenylalanine or Tryptophan naturally or artificially. I do get boost of energy for the rest of the day after using it, but that is most likely due to the workout. Every single time I have used this, the next morning I feel unusually tired and will sleep 1-1.5 hours longer than I normally would (even if I go to bed early). Dont know if anyone else has experienced this. In sum, if you are looking for something to build lean muscle on, I think this is a good product. In terms of workout recovery I am a little disappointed with how it has been working. I also would like to know if anyone else has experienced fatigue after using this powder if thats just me. I havent decided if I would buy it again when I finish this one.

I usually buy the larger size-much better value. But the sugar-free only comes in 16 oz size. I was concerned about the sugar in the regular vanilla. (I had bariatric surgery 10yr ago- can feel when sugar hits me). Ive since switched to the unsweetened and just add a drop of stevia. That version comes in the 2lb can and saves $$. This one tastes great -so no complaints there. Been using Biochem whey for extra protein since my 2010 surgery. A cup of milk and frozen berries and its an instant thick shake for morning meal. Best way to get extra protein! Some times I add in plain yoghurt or soft tofu. The colder the ingredients the better. I keep all my berries in the freezer and WOW-instant milkshake!

I use protein powders to supplement protein, because I’ve found it difficult to get enough in my diet. Despite being sensitive to dairy, I’ve had no issues with this product. It mixes easily, tastes great, and feels easily digestible. I love that it’s sourced from grass-fed cows, and that the ingredients are simple + clean. I’ve also used this while on a keto dietary protocol since it’s low carb. I’d definitely recommend.

We use the product almost daily to supplement our protein needs and have used it for a number of years. I think it’s the best whey protein powder we’ve been able to get.

As someone who tries to limit dairy intake, its important that the dairy products I do consume are high quality. This has proven to be the perfect protein for me. - clean ingredients, high quality isolate - sourced from hormone free grass fed cows - 99% lactose free (as someone whos mostly lactose intolerant, this protein powder never gives me stomach problems) - love that they offer it in natural as i hate the fake, overly sweet, chemical laden protein powders that crowd the market, also makes it easily adaptable to use in other foods such as oatmeal or baking - pretty high g/protein per serving for only 90 cals (typical whey powders are 120-150 cals/serving for 22-25g of protein,1.5 scoops of this is 135cals for 30g of protein - great choice for post workout shakes or midday snacks with very good blendability, even in water
