Ive been using Biochem Whey for years and I love it. Its pure isolate and dairy free. Its not so easy to find pure lactose free isolate whey. Biochem is the best Ive seen.

I bought the vanilla and really liked it. Im sorry I bought the chocolate. It has a terrible aftertaste and upsets my stomach.

Weve been buying this brand for years, good stuff. Inflation is out of control.

This product is pretty amazing! It was recommended to me by my sister-who is diabetic- but is very active and fit (her nutritionist told her it was the best choice of whey protein)!! It does not disappoint.. 20g of protein and only 120-ish cal. I think your body wont process more than 20-ish gr. of protein per sitting anyway. I am taking because I am trying to get in shape- joined the gym, eating more healthy bla bla. I wanted to lose the weight I had put on during the holidays, and my trainer recommended increasing my protein intake. Although eating more fish/chicken is ideal, I am a FT college student and work PT time so my schedule is hectic needless to say. But now, I just make a big shake in the morning and take it with me when I know I wont have time to eat a proper lunch. Its tasty and I get my protein.. WIN WIN..Although it really doesnt taste bad with just plain water, I recommend mixing it with some skim milk and fruit for added taste and nutrition (I have choc. fudge flavor). Actually, the best shake with this is: 1cup milk, 1tbsp of peanut butter, 1/2 banana, 1 serving [choc. fudge] powder and blend! MMMMmmmamazing. Lastly, spoon and cup doesnt work too well, BUT you DONT need a blender in order to mix it thoroughly, as long as you can shake it in something with a lid (water bottle). GET IT!! GET IT!!

Excellent product to help boost protein intake!

I like this product and have used it for years. I have tried the chocolate and the vanilla and like them equally. Both flavors are really good . This product unlike some, this one mixes very well even if not using a blender but just a shaker bottle. There is no chalky taste and it comes in a sweetened version , one that has stevia or an unsweetened variety. It is my go to for protein powders

This is the BEST protein that I have had so far. Before I go any further, this is the best in my opinion because I was looking for specific elements in my protein which were the following: 1. Natural Whey Protein with no other types of protein, such as soy. Theres nothing wrong with soy, but i can just drink soy milk or eat tofu for that. 2. Cold Filtered so that its not denatured 3. No hormones or added ingredients. I want the ingredient list to be as short as possible and ALL NATURAL 4. LOW CALORIES and LOW FAT. I DO NOT want excess mass, contrary to probably 95% of the people out there who take supplements to just get big If the above are things you do not want (especially number 4), then search out a different protein. Now, if you were looking for the above, Ill tell you why its so great. A. Taste. This has NO weird whey after taste. it keeps it to a very minimum. to be honest, i dont taste it at all. also since it uses no artificial flavors, you dont get that weird cheap candy after taste either. B. Price. This price on amazon is excellent. its way cheaper than anything you will find at your local health food store. it almost always sells for a little over 40 dollars. (UPDATE: pricing is not always the best on Amazon anymore, so you might want to look around before purchasing.) C. Results. Ok, this is of course going to be different from person to person because it depends on a lot on how you train, your lifestyle/regular eating habits, etc., but i like it because it hasnt added any fat, and has helped me supplement by diet with that extra bit of protein. and it definitely has helped me gain muscle and strength. Ive used this product steadily for about 4 to 5 years now. UPDATE: Feb. 12, 2012 I just wanted to add one more point after receiving a friendly response to my review. Ive read some negative reviews on this product regarding its mixability. Normally this product mixes incredibly well, i.e. just dissolves into the water/milk instantly. HOWEVER, I have had two separate instances in my 6+ years of using this product when the protein just wouldnt mix well. I noticed that the powder color was slightly darker brown than normal too. But, seeing that it only happened twice in my 6+ years of using this product and no such cases in the past 3 years, I am inclined to say these were one off instances, and may very well qualify for an exchange. P.S. Im still using this product regularly. UPDATE: Jan. 16, 2015 Just another update, as I was ordering for myself and realized I hadnt yet mentioned, but the company has started sourcing the protein from grass fed cows. This is the best thing short of organic, and to be honest, grass fed is more important than simply being organic So if you do buy this protein, try to look for the version that has the sticker or label indicating that is from grass fed cows.

The chocolate flavor is very tasty! I put 1/4 banana and skim milk into a blender, and it makes the closest thing one could have to a milkshake! It does contain sugar -- 120 calories per 2 scoop serving (scoop is included inside the product, probably near the bottom of the can!). It also contains the sweetener stevia. It works out to about $1/serving. One competing product has fewer calories, but the cost of the competing product is about twice as much. I wish Amazon included nutrition labeling for every product, but here is further nutrition labeling info, again per 2 scoop serving -- 20 grams protein (40% daily value), 8 grams carbs (3%), ZERO fat!! Product should be kept under 86 degree temps. I purchased this product for my high school football-playing son for protein, and for myself to fill me up and help lose weight. Im not sure if it will serve the purpose of helping me lose weight, but it certainly tastes GREAT, and is a great 120 calorie milkshake substitute! I will probably try their berry flavor next. Again -- did I say this already? -- the chocolate flavor tastes GREAT!!!

As far as clean protein goes, this is one of the best. It tastes decent and it doesnt have the artificial fillers that most of the other protein powders have including sucralose (gross). Unfortunately the price of this supplement has increased by 50% (used to be $34) which considering there is only 28 servings in a container, that can become quite pricey. So I had to know one star off for the massive price increase. Other than the price, I have nothing bad to say about this protein powder.

I use this with soy milk. It blends easily, is easy on my stomach and tastes good.
