> 3 dayThis little beast is exactly what we needed. We have 3 kitties (4 when I bought it, the 4th was a long-haired) and they take over my bed every time Im not looking, which means there is hair everywhere. To combat the issue, we would de-hair the end of the bed every morning, then pull a lovely flat sheet over the whole thing and occasionally lint roll the flat sheet as well. We had been using the *MAGICAL* Pledge PetHair Remover (pictured here http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71B7dwuq%2BZL._SY355_.jpg) but ours was beginning to wear out and not work as well, so I tried to find another one to replace it but it had been discontinued. I ordered the Lint Wizard Pro to try and replace it (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010ONK2K?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage) and while it did a decent job, it was mostly good for clothes, not the bed. I was just about to order a Costco-sized pack of the disposable lint rollers we know and love so well, but I decided not to keep throwing away money. ENTER THE CLEANVIEW DELUXE. I chose this vacuum because of multiple reports of staggering power, as well as an easy-clean permanent filter and a few attachments. I also love the Bissell brand- I find their products simple, well-made and affordable (I especially love my steam mop!). I had originally viewed the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser (http://www.amazon.com/Bissell-Eraser-Handheld-Vacuum-33A1/dp/B001EYFQ28/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1453307516&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=bissell+pet+hair&psc=1) but I wanted the attachments. This thing is a perfect, permanent replacement for my lint roller problem. The only thing I wish it had is a lint brush attachment, and I mayjust have to try to finagle one of my own.

Greater than one weekThis hand vac is basically the same as the model 33A1, but also includes an attachable flexible hose, a crevice tool, and a brush attachment. I think the additional flexiblity of this model is worth the extra money because the tools can get into areas that the larger head on the main unit cant. I have 3 cats, two long hair and one short hair, and a long haired dog. The main problem I had was the cat hair. The long hair mats into the furniture, and most vacuums I tried would ball it up and then pick up part of the clump. The short hair pokes into upholstery like so many little spikes. I sometimes wondered if they were barbed at one end to hold them into the upholstery. When I ordered this vacuum, I had high hopes that it would replace the numerous tools that I used to get most of the hair off of furniture. I was not disappointed!! It still takes some time and effort to get all of the hair, but this vacuum does it so much better in much less time. The air venting from the sides of the vacuum hasnt been a problem for me because the hair on the upholstery is not loose and doesnt blow easily. I dont think the purpose of this vacuum is to pick up feathers or dust from a smooth surface. Its purpose is to remove pet hair from furniture. Its very possible that the people complaining about the air vents blowing dust should have bought a hand vac that was designed for a purpose other than getting pet hair off of upholstery. In my opinion, this vacuum works great for the purpose that it was designed for.

> 3 dayOk. This is only the 2nd review Ive ever written, but felt I needed to. I was skeptical of this vacuum after reading some of the negative reviews. In fact, so much that along with it I bought a tape lint remover and extra rolls. When the vacuum showed up I decided to give it a go. I have a futon and bought a black cover for the mattress so itd match my interior. I have a lamb retriever with redish brown hair. The dude sheds a lot. More so than I thought seeing how much more the hair shows up on the black cover. I tried my shark vacuum with the pet hair attachment that I thought previously worked rather well. Not so much on this black cover. I had to pick up a lint tape roll. It worked better than the vacuum but each time I went through a lot of tape. I fired this thing up with the default rubber attachment on it. One swipe and I was completely amazed. I proceeded to clean the whole thing. Took me less than 5 minutes. I couldnt believe how well it worked! Lots of suction! It completely removed the hair! It was really easy to open the canister to empty it too. No trouble at all. I cant understand where some reviews say they cant use it as a regular hand vac because the vents blow down. Mine appears to blow out both sides. Besides it came with multiple attachments including a decent length hose where if the air did blow down I cant see how it would pose the issues called out in some of the negative reviews if the hose was attached. It worked far better than anything Ive used to date. I packed the lint remover tape dispenser away along with the extra roll replacements. I may just send them back. My experience was no where near that of the negative reviews Ive read. At least for me in my experience, this thing is amazing. Thats why I felt the need to review it.

> 3 dayOk for stairs as it’s lightweight and the adapter gives you the option to do both the stair and the riser without having to flip the device making it easier on your wrists. However there is a MAJOR design flaw with the exhaust system. If you try to use it for anything like a dust mess from drilling holes to hang something, the exhaust blows the dust around before it can pick up the mess. It made a simple cleanup a much bigger mess.

> 3 dayI like the size and the suction for dog hair. The carpet attachment is good. I also like the long electric cord. You really need the separate side air deflectors. The other attachments are good. The only negative is when you push on the side deflectors, it makes it impossible to store the unit and attachments in the box and Im afraid of losing some attachments. I now need to buy some type of container to store everything. It would be better if the deflectors were included with the vacuum.

> 3 dayThis is PERFECT for what I wanted. Ive been looking for a handheld vacuum with a hose for some time for dusting. I have allergies and vacuuming away that dust is so much better than dry dusting or dusting with dusting sprays. The suction is perfect for this, not very noisy, long cord, and the vacuum is light and easy to handle and easy to clean. The MAJOR issue is that this unit uses Bissells odd attachment size - 1 1/8? - and the attachments fit IN the opening, not over the opening. You cannot use standard 1 1/4 attachments that fit over the hose without an adapter. The vacuum doesnt come with a brush attachment either or it wouldnt be a problem for me. I was able to buy an adapter on eBay and now can use all my existing attachments. Depending on what you need it for, but knowing the situation with the attachments, it could be perfect. But I wish Bissell had either included a brush attachment or included an adapter.
