I carefully read all the reviews of similar items to this one and am delighted I made the right choice. I got it today, read through the instructions, tested out how to take apart the bin, filters and attachments and gave it a whirl. What a great little vacuum! The price is excellent. Was astounded how much it picked up on the stairs and it took 2 times to empty the dust bin in between. The rubberized front is surprisingly good for pet hair; I thought it would get full of hair and need cleaning itself but it really loosens the dirt and hair without getting clogged at all. About the complaints of the venting on the sides and the handle being on the top: I love that the handle is on the top because I can direct the vacuum and bear down on it to get exactly the spot I want. And if not side vents, where? I loved my Shark hand vac but it died after a couple years of hard use. It vented out the back which sometimes hurt. Whatever the Bissell blows around on the stairs or the floor is what I want to vacuum anyway...so the dirt can run but it cant hide. If there are papers nearby or whatever, Ill just make sure the vents dont blow in that direction. Pretty easy to manage. Its so light and its pleasant to be able to see when the bin needs emptying. I like the double regular/hepa filter. I got a Dyson stick vac but a little part broke off. We havent had it repaired yet...it was expensive! Bissell is my new fave.

Cleans amazingly well for a small vac. Needed something for the pet hair in our cars. This does the trick and quickly!

Goodness, I purchased this for one reason and one reason alone; to hope beyond hope that I might be able to have a sofa that doesnt look like yeti. The rubberized end and suction makes it very easy to quickly and easily remove the inches of cat from my sofa each week. I can see where some reviewers were having problems with the vents, they do get quite warm. Additionally the tank is just a little small for my taste, and can get stringy items easily caught in it. But where-in I need it to remove cat hair from the sofa, it is a solid five stars.

I needed to replace my handheld vacuum. I was open to buying either a cordless one or one with a cord. I didnt have a strong preference, either way. I luv that it has a long cord (18 foot) & a HEPA filter. The suction is ok & its easy to empty.

This little vacuum worked better than any handheld vacuum Ive ever had. It has great suction and does a superior job of getting the dog hair out of stair edges. There is easy cleanup on the canister and filter.

The vacuum has great suction power, its light weight and long power-cord makes it convenient to use. Its filters ridged structure is effective in catching dirt but quite tedious to clean. I wish that its accessories includes a round vacuum brush (such as showed in the photo), but unfortunately Bissel does not make one. To make the matter worse the vacuums hose attachment opening uses a non-standard 1-5/16 thus preventing use of plug-n-play aftermarket accessories & adapters. My only viable solution is to find a slightly larger diameter brush 1-3/8 and sanded down 1/16 with a Dremel rotating sander.

The suction on this thing is really good. The cordless models I had been getting just lost suction over time - being this is corded, Im hoping it will be different. Easy to use, I like that the on switch is on the handle where your thumb can switch it on. If you set it down however while using it, it just flops over on its side. Not a big deal, but annoying.

There are very few things Ive purchased that I rave about. But this is one. Ive owned about ten small handheld vacuums, and about 100 larger vacuum cleaners over my lifetime (literally, thanks to my Xs and teenage daughters ignoring my pleas not to suck up furniture, clothing items, entire wire spools, etc. into the vacuum. Bad for the motor). The small ones I generally used for my office (I was high ranking enough to have an office, but low enough not to have it vacuumed more than yearly), small apartments, cars, furniture, etc. By FAR this is the best. Dont be put off because it doesnt have a rotating brush--these just are bombs looking to explode. At a minimum they break often, and get stuck, and by the time you smell the awful burning aroma, the motor is cooked. This has plenty of power. The variety of attachments is imaginative and useful. The funniest use Ive had for it was vacuuming my profoundly deaf cat. To her, it the vibrations just felt like a purr, and even after a flea treatment and combing, it pulled a few fleas out which I could see in the clear filter. Forget the chargeable ones. They work well for about 5 minutes. Like any other vacuum, this will only work as well as you keep the screen and filters clean, so dont let them get too clogged. Theyre easy to remove and shake the debris out of, so its plus, plus, plus in my book.

This little beast is exactly what we needed. We have 3 kitties (4 when I bought it, the 4th was a long-haired) and they take over my bed every time Im not looking, which means there is hair everywhere. To combat the issue, we would de-hair the end of the bed every morning, then pull a lovely flat sheet over the whole thing and occasionally lint roll the flat sheet as well. We had been using the *MAGICAL* Pledge PetHair Remover (pictured here http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71B7dwuq%2BZL._SY355_.jpg) but ours was beginning to wear out and not work as well, so I tried to find another one to replace it but it had been discontinued. I ordered the Lint Wizard Pro to try and replace it (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010ONK2K?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage) and while it did a decent job, it was mostly good for clothes, not the bed. I was just about to order a Costco-sized pack of the disposable lint rollers we know and love so well, but I decided not to keep throwing away money. ENTER THE CLEANVIEW DELUXE. I chose this vacuum because of multiple reports of staggering power, as well as an easy-clean permanent filter and a few attachments. I also love the Bissell brand- I find their products simple, well-made and affordable (I especially love my steam mop!). I had originally viewed the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser (http://www.amazon.com/Bissell-Eraser-Handheld-Vacuum-33A1/dp/B001EYFQ28/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1453307516&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=bissell+pet+hair&psc=1) but I wanted the attachments. This thing is a perfect, permanent replacement for my lint roller problem. The only thing I wish it had is a lint brush attachment, and I mayjust have to try to finagle one of my own.

This is a very good vacume . Just what I wanted. My only complaint with it. Is the way it was sent . There was no mailing box with a shipping lable and no way to return it due to a lack of address information or return shipping . So if I had to return it, I wouldnt know where to send it and I would have to pay the postage and a box to return it in. That was a little disappointing to me. The box wasnt even taped shut ! Other wise it is a good product and would recommend it to others. Sincerely Mrs. Mary Villemure
