> 3 dayUnlike similar floor cleaners, this cleaner has a steam feature. It shoots out a great amount of steam, scrubs the floor, and sucks up the water thoroughly. Of course it vacuums as well. But, I’m a bit old fashioned and pre-vacuum my floor first. The other advantage of the steam feature is there are no streaks. FYI, I put a small amount of Murphy’s oil soap in the clean water reservoir (this might void my warranty).

Greater than one weekInstructions... not entirely clear. There were a few parts where we didnt quite understand what was what. Watch the Bissell videos instead. DOES IT CLEAN? It does clean well! I only tested it on hard laminate floor with steam and the hard floor setting. I did leave some wet spots but once I got the hang of it, it worked as expected and the wet spots were under control. Lots of gross dirty water in the end. Best use case... Cleaning entire rooms. The images seem to show it as a tool to clean up spills and targeted messes but its a production to use it so only get this if you plan on regularly cleaning rooms with it, entire floors, not just where Johnny spilled some milk. It is definitely not something you will just pop out, clean up a little mess, and put back. How is it a production to use it? The start-up process isnt bad - it takes a few minutes. Its the clean-up process that takes some time. Its not difficult but there are several steps including rinsing out the tanks, strainer, and filter, using the clean out tray (which is cool) and then taking it all apart to air dry for 24 hours before next use. (see photo, all taken apart) Tidbits... its loud (its a vacuum), its heavy (but maneuverable), and the product image implies you get two rollers but you only get one. None of the included solutions said anything about laminate floors - still researching that. THE BOTTOM LINE is that it does clean well but its much more of a general cleaning tool than something you use for just spills. Hey, if youre good with going through the production to clean up the few bits of cereal and milk that hit the floor, go for it. Its a great way to routinely clean your floors. -------- Let me help you out with a few discoveries I made while using this machine... ** Make sure you tighten the top on the clean water tank properly. It might look and feel like its on right, but test it over your sink first. I poured it all over the machine and my living room. I dont recommend testing it that way. ** I kept stepping on the cord because of where it comes out, low on the back. I wrapped a little of it over the top hook you use to wind up the cord. That helped. ** Follow the instructions to get the steam going, it will work. NOTE: Clean out tray is not pictured in my photos

Greater than one weekThe title says it all. I have been on the hunt for a new multi purpose vacuum for a while now to clean up the various messes of our small children and large dogs. From muddy paws to spilled drinks and food, the HydroSteam does a great job keeping the house clean. I personally hate to mop and this product makes my life a whole lot easier. I couldnt recommend this product enough.

> 3 dayEven though I did not order through Amazon, I bought it directly from the website, it has been awesome so far. I bought a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop from Amazon last year and only used it daily for a month and stopped working. Im happy I purchased a warranty because I like the idea of cleaning floors in a shorter timeframe. I have 4 children and the youngest is a crawling 8-month-old so having less time cleaning and mopping the floors is a must plus this steam cleans as well which I have been waiting for a while now. I knew my next purchase had to have it all. Although it is corded it has a long enough cord to reach places without having to relocate the plug. Its definitely easy to set up and steam and suction are good. The feature I found unexpectedly nice was the lights. I didnt realize the number of shadows in certain places of my home and when I was cleaning I saw streaks of smeared baby food puree on the floor which I would have overlooked if not for the bright lights. I also liked that I was not constantly changing the clean and dirty tanks every 5 minutes (which was definitely what I had to do with the previous vac/mop). I changed it twice for my entire home for both so that was definitely a relief and less time-consuming. Overall I do highly recommend it. I have tiles and lament wood floors so really good. The edge has a little bit of a gap between the wall and the vacuum but if you face it forward, it suctions off mess pushed to the sides. The price is reasonable for the amount of work and added features. I was looking at a different one that did not have a steam feature for twice the amount as this 3-in1 plus the extra bundle pack. Try it for yourself.

> 3 dayOur house is mostly tile and laminate. This is the best floor cleaner Ive found but dont let the steam thing fool you. This produces very little of it and with the tools provided this isnt going to remove grit from your grout without a manual brush and additional cleaner. But for general floor cleaning it works well. I vacuum before I use it and I have a very good Dyson vacuum but this will still pick up an additional huge amount of dog hair. So much so that I usually have to empty it frequently. If I had to do it over Id have probably bought one of their less expensive models without the steam as its almost non-existent in this model. And dont expect this to clean well close to edges. Youll have to manually scrub and use something else around baseboards. Anything closer than 1/2 inch will never get picked up or cleaned. Wait for this one to lower in price. Its way too expensive now or buy one of the other Crosswave products (preferably one without a cord). Much less expensive and I suspect will do about the same level of cleaning. Glad I didnt get rid of my steam mop that actually makes steam.

Greater than one weekI have had three of these types of wet/dry vacs through years, this one is the best by far. The suction, steam and cleaning power is great. I generally stick with Bissell has I have had nothing but good experiences so far with their products. My husband actually uses it daily, as we have all tile in our home and he loves how quickly it dries and good it cleans.

Greater than one weekI have only used it once, but I am so happy. After a recent remodel and all hard flooring I was so tired of sweeping and mopping, I felt everything was always covered in dust. The water was so dirty after the first pass. The water trap for dirt reminds me of my mom’s old rainbow vacuum. No horribly dusty bins to dump after vacuuming. I am loving it so far. Providing it continues to do what it has done, I will continue loving it. Our floors have light traffic, so mostly dust no really bad messes yet.

> 3 dayWe already had the Bissell pet pro crosswave, which is a solid machine. We run it a few times a week on our LVP flooring, and it leaves the floor noticeably cleaner. I did notice that on some sticky spots, I’d have to let the brush sit on it and work at it for 20-30 seconds to get it up. So, I figured I’d upgrade to this and use the steam function, and it definitely works. Just a simple pass or two over something sticky and the floor is good as new. I also really like the self cleaning setting way more than the manual water dumping in the pet pro version. All in, I’d say this is worth the spend if you have pets and kids.

> 3 dayPros: steam works great, suction on smooth tile and textured left almost no water in first wipe. Self cleaning on its own dock, cleaned entire base and roller impressively! Cons: it is loud and heavy piece of equipment. Dirty water tank is a third the size of the clean water. Stopping to dump tank, is irritating. Overall, I really like the Bissell! Its a steam mop, light duty vacuum, and a scrubber all in one! Its understandable its heavy.. but way heavier than I expected.

Greater than one weekLove the suction and ease of use, but there is no steam. Ive run all the troubleshooting listed and still no steam. Unit is brand new. When Bissell heard I did not purchase from their site, they told me I had to talk with the retailer. Bissell customer service is not very helpful. Will be returning . Update: I just received a call from the Bissell Corp. Office. Apparently, they pay attention to the reviews on their products (very impressive). He apologized for the incorrect information I was given regarding having to go back to the place of purchase and offered a free cleaning product. I did recently replace the machine with another HydroSteam and it works perfectly. Thank you, Bissell, for caring about your customers experiences with your products.
