These are pristine pieces of acrylic that are as expected. They are NOT clear nor transparent at all. They are fully opaque and slick. Beautiful but not see through. I suspect that all of these varying colors will be the same non-transparent products. If this is what you need, you are in the right place!

For the love of god, look elsewhere for your acrylic needs. This came with no protective film. Markings all over it. And this does not feel like other acrylics... more like a flexible plastic. It cuts terrible in the laser. Melts easily even on low power and deforms. The material is not glossy, either, as you can see in the photo next to actual glossy acrylic. I thought Id try using it and see how it did.. what a mistake. I should have returned it instantly. The seller has refunded my money (minus $2 for some reason). So good for them.. I did not even request it. They read my review and refunded.

I got these for a logo project Im making with the laser. The scattering on this is such that it is very difficult to cut with a 20 watt 455 nm diode laser. It engraves nicely and will cut smaller pieces, but for large pieces (I was doing about 6 x 6 inch parts), the kerf cools down and the material re-flows during a pass so you never get a through cut, no matter how many passes you attempt (I stopped at 11). Because of the scattering with this color, fine details are lost as well because the scattering heats and removes material beyond the normal laser kerf. Update: I will give credit to the company. I was contacted and offered a refund for this product. I really appreciate that kind of customer service.

I got a new 60W laser cutter so this was my test for cutting Acrylic. It etched well, I found that 10% power at 100 mm/s is about right. I used a little higher power for the piece in the picture and its etched a little deeper than I was going for. 1/5 is a little thick for for this laser so it took two passes at 95% power and 10 mm/s to cut it but the cut came out fine that way.

For some reason the under sink area in my kitchen is one long run so theres nothing dividing the under sink storage (cleaning supplies) from the under counter storage (pots, pans, etc). No idea why it was left like this but I want it separated and thought this would be perfect to build a little wall out of. I ordered this and some clear ones and was able to cut them to size and glue them together. They were easy to work with and Im happy with the final product!

This is a lovely blue cast acrylic. So why did I give it only 4 stars? Its the description, not the item. I am seeing this with other sellers as well, and it upsets me. In my opinion, a 12 square should measure 12 on a side. At least they did not call it 1/4 thick like others do. This measures 11 3/4 x 11 3/4. So if you are doing a special project that requires, say, a 12 circle, this is not for you. And if you need a particular thickness, this measures on a micrometer between .185 and .190 (depending on where you measure, which is normal for acrylic). From the tolerance charts for acrylic that I have found on Google, this does qualify as being listed as 1/5. As long as you know what you are actually getting, this would be a beautiful product to work with.

These are coated on both sides to protect the plastic, with my 10 W diode laser (w-Air Assist) they cut cleanly with only 2 passes. Making quilting templates for my wife with these and will order more as needed. Arrived on time and in excellent condition.

The sellers web description says 12 x 12 Plastic Sheet with 1/25 Inch Thickness but actual size of items I received was about 11-11/16 inch square, or 297.5mm in metric - well short of 12 inches. (See uploaded image.) The thickness was 1.0mm as measured with a digital caliper, which is close enough to 1/25 inch as described. Otherwise the acrylic sheets looked great, and arrived well packaged in bubble envelope inside a protective cardboard box. Im giving it 4 stars due to the inaccurate size descriptions.

One of the biggest disappointments I found with my diode laser cutter (XTool D1 10 watt) was that it couldn’t cut clear acrylic - the beam just passes straight through. But that was offset by the fact that opaque colors were easily cut. These sheets are ideal for multiple uses, although I mainly use them to verify cut files before sending them out to a service bureau for cutting in metal. I find a cut speed of 2mm per second and 3 passes works great to cut completely through the material with my 10 watt laser. Engraving can be done much faster. This is superb material for use in lasers. The cut is extremely thin, allowing for very efficient usage. It is substantial enough for most uses, but lightweight and flexible. If you have a diode laser, this is the right material for you.

I ordered these acrylic sheets to cut down for small shelves in a custom niche in my home office that will hold small glass items and keepsakes. The niche is recessed into the wall, 8” wide/deep, and 60” tall. A smart light at the top shines down with color-changing effects, so I wanted the shelves to be clear. I chose these 1/5-inch-thick xTool acrylic sheets to ensure that they would not sag under the weight of small keepsakes. I ordered a 2-pack that arrived securely packaged and exactly as described. Each sheet measures 12” x 12”. The 1/5-inch thickness is heftier than I expected and akin to a 1/4” piece of heavy-duty glass, except it’s lighter than glass and doesn’t break. Each sheet is protected on both sides by a semi-opaque plastic film that peels off easily. Once the acrylic surface is exposed, it is crystal clear and blemish-free. When I cut the sheets down, I used a jigsaw. I left the protective film on while cutting so I would not scratch the surface, and I applied a 2-inch-wide strip of masking tape along the cutlines for more protection. These sheets are high-quality acrylic—crystal clear and quite substantial. I was impressed by the quality, and the price isn’t bad considering that all acrylic products have become pricier lately. I am happy with this purchase and will buy this product again if I undertake similar projects in the future.
