Our technician recommended MERV 8 filters and he said to get them from Amazon. These did not disappoint. They came quick, are well made and the added bonus is they are USA made. The price was less than the ones from the local hardware store.

These BNX HVAC Air Filters work great and hold up well. Fit just right for my system. They have a MERV-8 rating (Removes Dust, Mold, Pollen, Lint). So these have a better rating then the ones I was using from my local hardware store. On my system, these are very easy to install since the filter door is easy to access. These fit my air return perfectly and a very well made. You only have to change them out every two to three months depending on where you live. These high quality air filters are definitely worth the price.

I like these USA-made MERV 8 filters because they are a firm fit in my air ducts -- with no gaps on the sides -- and that they trap cat dander, pollen and other airborne detritus effectively. We have four air ducts, so this five-pack was a slight overkill, but they are priced competitively and do the job (and we have an extra for emergencies).

The filters arrived intact with no crushing of the frame or filter material. They are correctly sized and properly fit the matching vent. The density of the material appears appropriate for the stated filtration rating.

Great value for the pack size. Easy to install, no issues.

I have been using MERV 11 air filters and thought Id try a few MERV 8 air filters. Googling MERV 8, this is supposed around 80% efficient vs MERV 11, which is supposed to be around 90% efficient. Of course what does efficient or efficiency really mean? From a laymans perspective 90% will filter more than 80% but it will also clog up faster and air flow is restricted more with a MERV 11 vs a MERV 8. Bottom line is that I thought Id try a few MERV 8 and see if I could tell any difference over time. These filters appear to well constructed and I can tell that they are lighter weight than my MERV 11 filters.

They fit well in my A/C unit. They seem to be working as intended.

I have been buying HVAC filter from a local big box store but they are getting more expensive even for the basic quality ones. I am happy to find this online. They are excellent quality and cost about the same as the lower quality ones from the big box store!
