I admit... I am guilty of not changing out filters as often as I should so I was really happy with how fast they shipped these. My hope is if I have a supply on hand, I will change them more regularly. Nothing exciting (theyre pleated air filters), exactly as shown and I received the right size. My Furnace/AC is happy with me again.

Most simple answer is that these are very good filters. They seem to collect more gunk than other filters do. I really like these filters.

These are well-made filters, not cheap contractor-grade filters that are excessively flexible. The cardboard frame is sturdy. The filtering element is reinforced with thin wire. They are as good as any other MERV 8 filter I have seen. No one in my home suffers from allergies, so MERV 8 is good for us. MERV 13s catch more airborne nasties, but they also put a tad more strain on old HVAC units.

The dimensions are a little longer and wider than the furnace filter being replaced. The fit into the slot was a little tight, but I was able to bend the edge enough to get the hook around the edge. The label on the package markets this as a 3 month filter. The filter has been installed for 1 month and collected an adequate amount of dirt to equate to less than 1/3 of the holding capacity, so I concur with this being a 3 month filter. The backside of the filter still looks new and clean.
