These are so messy. As soon as you open the package straw goes everywhere. It doesnt stick well at all to the paper bottom so dont even think about shaking them out for cleaning. I tried and the straw just fell right off of backing. These were very expensive and Im really dissapointed. I would have been better off to just buy some cheap bedding and throw in there. I absolutely do not recommend. Do yourself a favor and look at the rubber ones that you can rinse off and are reusable or the turf ones that look like fake grass.

These make a mess everywhere and the chickens seem to pull it out of the box somehow spreading pieces all over. Ill try another option.

I usually use the fake grass sheets inside my chickens nesting boxes. I wanted to try something a little more thick for them for comfort. These are so messy. The straw doesnt stay together and my chickens just tear it apart spreading it everywhere inside the coop. I scoop clean their coop everyday and these just make it so hard to keep their bedding clean. Not worth it. Going back to fake grass

I like the ease of using and chickens can’t kick it out like they do with straw, but quite expensive for what they are.

I was hoping these would help alleviate the need to fill the nestling boxes daily but I still had to.

This survives quite a bit of scratching from the hens.

Our chicken boxes are easier to clean.

chickens lay everywhere and for the first time they laid in the actual box not every time but its a start lol

Wow my hens didn’t like the shavings in the nest kicked them all out installed this product and the rooster went in prepared the nest like he is suppose to an within hours hens were laying eggs. Made a huge difference fit was perfect and was plenty thick enough. Great product am ordering more for when it’s time to replace.
