> 3 dayIt will not power an air tool, the air depletes very quick and would not recover fast enough. Good for projects that do not require cfm.

> 3 dayI used to have pancake compressor for snuba off my dock. Hated to use it because of the noise it produced. The only good thing a pancake compressors does is let you know its recharging the tank from the racket it made. This one is dead quiet so doesnt piss off the neighbors. Thats a good thing.

Greater than one weekWow...this bugger is quiet. Not like refrigerator-running-quiet but compared to my last compressor...Wow!!! I can carry on a conversation standing right next to it. I had an issue after my first time using it...I used the relief valve to release the air in the tank. ( i was checking to make sure it worked). After that I dint use it for a few days and it WOULD not RUN. Couldnt figure out why. Called the CAT hotline and they helped me troubleshoot it. All good and no problems since. ( the pressure switch got stuck in the open postion and the motor stopped) once I got that unstuck...ALL GOOD!

Greater than one weekThis is the absolute quietest compressor I have ever owned, great for the house garage.

> 3 dayThis is my second air compressor. I was limited in use of my 15 gallon cheap compressor to the hours of the day when no one was on the telephone or watching television. It sounds like a freight train and shakes the house. This compressor is far quieter. Even after reading the descriptions, I was surprised how quiet it is. Plenty of air for staple, brad and pin nailers - it can even handle the big framing nailer, if you can move at a slow pace for a while. Light enough to carry to the work, I might eventually rig up a hand trolley for it at some point.

> 3 dayWe are using this at work(indoor). And could not be happier with the performance and low noise level. Strongly recommend.

> 3 daySuper quiet, but thats why I bought it. Well packaged, it survived intact as I watched the UPS man roll it out the door of the truck (yes, he rolled the square box up the aisle and was end-over-ending it down the stairs when I told him to stop and I would take it from there). At roughly 45lbs, its not heavy, but still not light; however, definitely light enough to carry out of a truck. Would be nice to see an aluminum frame for even more weight savings. The on/off switch is not readable unless you have a clear angle as its black on black. I simply wrote on/off with a white marker to make identification quicker, especially in low light. Because of the small capacity it took some time to fine adjust the regulator to (110psi max) without going below. Once I found it, I marked the spot as a reference. I was easily able to adjust the low limit switch to 95psi (factory appeared to be ~85psi) to ensure my nailer didnt fall below minimum. Finally I dont get interrupted by the compressor, and the baby can still sleep when I work inside. For reference, I replaced a bostich pancake with this unit. I swear the bostich was louder than my 5hp shop compressor. This compressor is being used for nail guns only. You could fill tires and do the occasional blast of air, but capacity is lacking for any flowing air application.
