> 3 dayI ordered several of these and stocked them so I have them to last for several years. I used my first one for a year so far and it seems to be corroding at the same rate as the original which is good. The threads on this one must be a little shallower as I have had to use a fair bit of plumbers tape to stop the threads from leaking when the water is hot. Other than that, it is just fine.

> 3 dayBecause I have had problems with hydrogen sulfide smell in the hot water, I hyperchlorinated my whole system and then, removed my magnesium anode and replaced with this aluminum anode. Magnesium is more reactive than aluminum. My research suggested that I will get less of this bacterial reaction within the heater with aluminum. My wife will be much more apt to smile in the shower with less of the H2S smell. Sure hope that it makes a difference. It is at least worth the try.

> 3 dayUsed this to replace my Suburban SW6P ,Manual, 6 gallon, hot water heater Anode Rod. This Camco 11563 was a direct replacement on my SpringDale Mini 1750RD Camper, 3/4 Thread , 9 1/2 long with a 5/8 Diameter using a 1 1/16 Socket If it had the quick drain valve like the Camco 11533 + it was 9 1/2 long to ensure the whole tank is protected it would have been perfect

> 3 dayI replace these about every two years or about 60 days of camping. If you use your RV more thanyou may want to replace it more often. This one is for a 6 gal tank and we have a 10 gal tank. We did buy one last year for the 10 but it would not fit.

15-04-2025This was exactly what I needed for the WH in my Fleetwood Pioneer camper. I was unsure of the size I needed, but this fit perfectly.

Greater than one weekWas told we would need to replace the one that came with our new to us RV and the store wanted over 2x what this one costs. Would recommend.

Greater than one weekIt says atwood, but its also the right size for the small Dometic. Just FYI. Thank goodness for this thing, because Keystone only equipped ours with a nylon plug.
