> 3 dayThis is a nice, smooth, sturdy comb, but I cant see a dimes worth of difference between this $32.00 comb and the $7.42 Andis Pet 7 1/2 inch steel comb. I bought this one first because my husband has a terrible time keeping knots and mats out of his shelties hair. He was not impressed so I tried it on my sheltie who has no knots and no mats. I could not pull it through her hair either. There was considerable drag so I had to back it out. Out of curiosity, I ordered the Andis Pet 7 1/2 inch comb and it performed the same way--no better and no worse. After we tried the Tropiclean Tangle Remover both combs did a beautiful job. I suspect almost any comb would work with the help of Tropiclean.

> 3 dayI REALLY hated spending SO MUCH MONEY on a dog comb. I actually contemplated it for quite sometime before I gave in to the recommendations from my fellow golden doodle owners. Still hurts to think about but the comb does a very thorough job with getting through the curly coat of my dog without hurting him. My dog is pretty relaxed when I comb him so the price is worth it.

Greater than one weekI read all the reviews for a month or more that said this comb was so worth the money but just couldnt justify the price. I mean, its a dog comb and we already had two others. Let me just say this right now. I was wrong. This little gem is worth the price tag, whatever the going rate is. Our Shih Tzu is almost 5 months into a full coat and her hair was turning into a nightmare for us and her. We already had the Chris Christensen Coral Brush and Pin Brush, but as her hair grows out the comb seems to be the only thing that works. This thing is unbelievable. It combs through the matts and snarls, you can turn it so only one tooth is pulling through the really nasty spots and the dog just lays there and takes it. I really need to quit being so cheap!

> 3 dayI use this comb all over my coton de tulears coat. It is great in combing out find bit of dirt and leaf bits from his long white fine hair. I love that its small enough for me to turn the comb around with one hand and not have to lose hold of my dog. It seems to be made of good quality material and does not snag his coat. I have no complaints and am please with my purchase.

Greater than one weekWorks really well on my Coton de Tulear’s face and feet! It doesn’t pull her hair, which is great.

> 3 dayAnyone who has ever owned an Old English Sheepdog knows that an amazing amount of debris accumulates in their beards. This tool has fine enough teeth to separate the hairs and comb out the mess

> 3 dayWish I had known earlier about this one for my Havanese. This is just an amazing brush. I was not convinced on buying such an expensive item for our dog (not a show dog) so I used many other cheaper brushes. Now, this buttercomb is amazing, will never buy anything else than this one. Not only it takes me now only 10-15 minutes to brush my dog (before it was 45 minutes+!) it also keeps the coat in perfect condition. The dog also enjoys it, first time I tried it, no struggle (what a big change) and slept in the middle of the brushing! Highly recommend it.
