Greater than one weekVery easy to install! I also like very much that you can leave one side uncovered so you don’t have to use a pen every time. My son loves to make the lights flicker in his room so this prevents him doing so. ( and from trying to stay awake at night)

> 3 dayThese keep me from accidentally flipping the wrong switch. However, with my large hands and fingers, I had to break off the side protection to be able to use the switch.

> 3 dayNOT virtually invisible as advertised; my spouse, who usually isnt real fussy about this type of stuff, was very bothered by them. we kept them because the function of the item worked well and we are adjusting to the aesthetics

> 3 dayMy wife saw this before I put it on and thought it was terrible however I looked around and there is nothing better and its just fine. Like most reviews, this protects my motion lights which I would just hard wire except that you can toggle the switch to turn on from inside if needed. My guests are usually the culprit as there are 3 and 4 gang switches near doors so they start tossing switches until they find the right one but dont typically return the one they just flipped to the original position. I imagine this would work well for kids. You can break off one or both side tabs to allow relatively easy toggling but there are clever holes above/below if you need better protection.

> 3 dayJust what I wanted. No way to inadvertently turn a switch on or off, but easy to do if you need to. I bought to keep power on to a photo controlled outside light that was switched

> 3 dayWorks as intended. Keeps my elderly dad from accidentally shutting off the automatic motion sensing lights, while keeping the capability of manual shut-off with a long thin object. Does not fit older style duplex light switches with a single screw on the faceplate, however you can manually drill two holes in the faceplate and screw it in. Be sure screws go into wood and does not contact anything electrical, and do not overtighten.
