14-04-2025This is an excellent product. Works as advertised, but just a little expensive for a piece of plastic really.

> 3 dayThese are great! We have our Amazon Alexa control numerous lights in the house, so these are a nice deterrent for everyone to remember to not flip the light switch off (and let Alexa turn the lights off). They come completely enclosed, and you can break off whichever side (or both) if you want to allow some access to the switch. Amazon sells another type that are white, but our switches are all almond colored, so these clear ones are perfect.

> 3 dayPerfect solution for locking a switch into position in order to discourage having it accidentally flipped. I have several banks of outlets run by a couple of two way switches that I dont want anyone to flip unless they absolutely need to. I installed each of these switches with the tab furthest away from human sight removed, and did the same with an automatic dehumidifying exhaust fan in the bathroom. Instantly resolved the problem of everyone flipping that switch and disabling the dehumidifying cycle. While they certainly arent invisible, the look better than anything else Ive seen and their design allows for multiple switching options. They feel quite sturdy as well.

> 3 dayWe have a son with autism who loves to play with the switches. Got these for the garbage disposal switch for safety, and he hasnt been able to figure it out so thats a win for us:) This is a kid who overrode a doorknob safety latch in approximately 0.3 seconds, so thats saying something. Its a little annoying to have to use a pencil to switch it on and off, but thats worth the peace of mind. Also super easy and quick to install or take off, you just use the two little existing screws on the light plate.

> 3 dayThese work great for our toddler’s room. We use a screw to turn on and off the lights and store it above the door frame in his room so he won’t mess with the lights after he goes to bed.
