Great product! I used it to protect a wall switched outlet that has our ATT Uverse system plugged into it, went on in about 1 minuite and I like the feature of being able to operate the switch in an emergency if needed,.

I like this cover. Its quality and is not cheap looking. I have my computer desktop and other items plugged into an outlet controlled by a light switch so I obviously did not want people attempting to turn it off and possibly damage any of my electronics. The cover is super quick to install and in the event you do need to turn off/on the switch, there are pencil-sized openings you can initiate the light switch with.

Easy to install. Used in front hall and mud room. Freezer could have been turned off by accident. Now I feel confident that won’t happen.

Using in an observatory to guard against accidentially turning on the lights. Easy to install...works perfectly.

In addition to being great for children (I can only assume), this is great for my 85-year-old dad. We had a Floodlight Cam by Ring installed in place of our failing garage floodlights. The problem is, the circuit was still linked up with a switch that always needed to be on. My father, who is very forgetful, would keep switching it off - so wed lose connectivity often. We tried a number of different options, including printing out a large sign that says, <FIRST NAME> STOP! You! Yes you, <First name>! STOP what you’re doing. Do you think there might be a reason the light switch is taped over? Do you think someone might not want the switch flipped off? This switch is linked to our front motion-sensitive lights. Our front lights have a surveillance camera. If you turn the switch off, the lights no-longer work, and the camera stops recording. Do NOT flip this switch off. When this was ignored, we started taping the light switch to stay on. Yes, you read that right, we taped the switch up. That worked for a few weeks, until he figured out how to get his hand between the tape and switch. The idea came to me from work, where we have a conference room with a switch that is covered up. No one can switch it off. It struck me one day - maybe I could apply this at home! For Christmas, I got my dad this product, and my mother couldnt have been happier. It took less than 2 minutes to install, and it solved our problem. We decided not to break the tabs on the side off, which allows more access than the product without any alteration. There are small holes slightly above the on position, and below the off position of the switch. Ive found a toothpick works well at accessing the switch, but you could probably use a narrow pen, or a paper clip. I hope my dad never reads this review, because Im sure that will give him ideas. I suppose Ill need to start hiding the paperclips and toothpicks now...

These guards do exactly what they are intended to. The switch really does need a pencil to toggle the switch, although the switch may be moved used the side slots. quite effective.

I like this, keeps switch in position, unless you need to change position. Easy install.

Easy to install. It prevents people from accidentally turning off the ceiling fan when turning off the light.
