Dont wait for the original plastic extruder on your Ender 3 to crack. Get a metal one. Thats some of the first advice you will get on any 3D printing forum, That and to get Capricorn tubing. The yellow bed springs do seem to be holding their position better than the originals. There was about twice as much tubing as you need in this kit for an Ender 3. Its a good idea to keep it as short as you can make it while still flowing smoothly into the hot end at its furthest extension. I was even able to successfully print using TPU after installing this upgrade, even though everyone thinks you need a direct drive print head.

This is a must have upgrade from the plastic one that come on your 3d printer and dont cheap out and get the red one. Spend the extra 2 bucks and get the real deal Creality one! One down side is there is no spot to hold the braided wire so a 3d printed solution will have to be done. Clearly i have yet to do that, lols. Very Easy install even for a new person to 3d printing. The gear is shorter with much wider teeth inwhich gives you a better bite on your filament with less chances of slipping.

Great upgrade to my printer and solved extruder feed issues for me. Id had another brand upgrade previously, that was not as well made with stripped threads and sharp edges. This Crealty branded part is significantly better, and a low cost upgrade that made a huge difference in filament feed and print quality.

Im so glad I changed this. It helped me out a lot with printing. It was easy to instal. The springs also helped me with leveling my bed much easier. I leveled it yesterday, AC was on and off, and completed 3 prints. The bed is still leveled, which is perfect.

Great set of upgrades. HOWEVER the bolt that goes through the extruder arm is not long enough to reach the threads on motor and fails to tighten, you will need a longer one to get things working.

This kit is worth the cost for just the all metal extruder assembly (as the Ender 3 & Ender 3 Pro seem to have a history with the plastic ones developing cracks around the hinge point). However, the beefier bed springs will save you from continually having to re-level your bed so often & the Capricorn PTFE tubing is top notch. I cant believe that there isnt an upgrade option for the Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro just include these in the box. But I sure am glad that I have them now.

I am needed to ajust the tension for use the fiexable filament, with the High hope to purchased this extruder BUT..%*#.. Spring adjusting screw head size too big , blocking the lower right mounting hole , can not mount back if assembled. Also this under screw design will have a hard time to adjust spring tension. not useful for me , Returned.

I havent installed it yet, but you cant beat it for the price. comes with what I think are a must which are the springs, and the stock extruder plastic part on my ender 3 pro broke within 2 months. Also comes with the blue tube that handles way higher temps. I have had to take apart my hot end a few times with the stock white tube because it was clogging up. Great quality.

Wasted too much time wondering why certain parts (e.g. the m3 rivet nut) werent fitting and why the instructions had different orientation than the stock one and this products own photos (e.g. the extrusion gear).
