You have no idea how long I have been looking for a solution for my headphones!!! I bought a MSI gaming laptop and had issues with my 3.5 audio jack headphones...The mic would work sometimes and other times it was a mad headache! I had other issues with my laptop so I decided to take it in to repair. Ended up upgrading it with a new Predator Helios 300...thought for sure all my problems with my headphone was fixed....nope!!!! Infact from the getgo my mic didnt work. After so much research turns out that it maybe windows 10 latest update that doesnt pic up the mic from a 3.5 headphone. Well after reading up and watching videos I came across this adapter and realized that the reviews were all full with issues similar to mine and how this product was a solution. AND MAN WAS IT! It sounds great and im heard through my headphone mic very clear and well. It comes with warranty so you can add it through the manufacturer...something I will definitely purchase just in case...but it looks very sturdy and well made, no cheap materials. Thank you ...you stopped me from going mad!!! LOL!

my laptops internal mic did not work, for whatever reason. i tried a different device in the past to enable an external mic, but it didnt let me have any audio output so talking to people wasnt possible. this product, however, was 100% plug and play. i just plugged it into my laptop, connected my mic, and then i could finally use voice chat functionality. yay!

Unlike the line splitting male/male mini plugs to female mini jack, this little unit works like a charm. No problem with configuration, the computer had it ready in twenty seconds. It allows me to plug my mic/headphone combo plug into it, and my computer takes care of the rest. It does not disable other mic and headphone choices you have as presets. It simply appears in a scroll down list with whatever programs youre using. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I got this to replace the sound card for my hyperx cloud 2. It wasn’t working to great and I didn’t want to spend more money on another sound card. This came in clutch as it was cheaper and works properly! My mic no longer keeps on cutting in and out. Only downside is that I purchased the shorter cable so my head keeps yanking on the cable. Remember to check the length when buying - make sure its long enough for your setup!

This works great for output. 5 stars for that. But Ive tested it with a couple of different headsets and the mike wont work on any of them when using this adapter. So 1 star for that. It MIGHT be my PC, I guess, so please read other comments/reviews as well.

If youre using this its likely for a scenario where you dont need the most perfect audio quality. Good, now that weve level set expectations, it does what it needs to do. I plugged it into my Windows 11 laptop dock, other end into the headphones, and it auto-detected and worked. I noticed a hiss and after testing, it was present within a few different audio cables but was always most pronounced when using this adapter. Thats fine because the hiss subsided when audio started to play, even if the audio itself was muted. Not sure why that happened, but it did. 5 stars because it does what it says it would and didnt try to grow legs and run away.

I use this for work and had tried a few ways to get my nice TRRS headset to USB. This was the answer that stuck. A year into using it I bought a second one to keep in my work backpack for travel with my travel headset.

I purchased this because I have a new Dell laptop with docking station and the newer laptop docking stations do not have a 3.5mm headphone port. This is exactly what you need to be able to plug your desktop speakers into your new docking stations. Works fantastic! Love the braided cord as well as it doesnt feel cheap and gives you that extra protection from pulling. Adaptor is about 1 ft long total. Again works great for external speakers. Sound quality is excellent and no issues with it after over a week of using daily for 8+ hours each day.

The 3.5mm jack socket on my laptop has failed, no idea why, or if its caused by hardware, or software, it just stopped working or being recognized by Windows and cannot be revived so by earbuds and microphone which I use every day as I travel are now useless ! In comes the DUKABEL USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter, USB to Aux Cable with mic support and TADA ! Plugged it in, immediately recognized by Windows, and given to me as an option for my Teams and other AV communication platforms, so I have full audio, with crystal clear earbuds and microphone back through my USB connector. Saved a fortune on laptop service techs, repair or even worse, a new laptop expense - love the product.
