> 3 dayMost of my computer time is spent wearing headphones. The husband and I have our computers in the same room, and while hes watching his videos or playing his games, Im listening to a movie Ive seen a thousand times while Im working on something else. Recently, the audio jack broke. Upward-facing audio jack + headphones + cats = only a matter of time really. So I found I was unable to use headphones, which was driving me absolutely mad. I dont like disturbing others with what Im listening to unless Im on a cleaning or crafting rampage, and even then, those arent normally in the same area as others. I knew there had to be some kind of audio to USB jack, and this is the one I bought. Thing worked like a dream. Plugged it in, plugged in my headphones, and were off to the incredibly cheesy 80s movies I love so much. I bought the shorter cord, which was just great for my needs. I did notice that it increased the volume, so if youre the type that likes to have things blasting regularly, you might want to turn the volumne down before adjusting to your desired decibel. The adaptor feels very sturdy and well-built, and the packaging was sleek too, so props for that. I also received a message from the seller, which is a touch of professionalism I enjoy, even if its just a block email. Attention to detail and all that. Very pleased with my purchase. I doubt Ill ever need to buy another one, but if I ever do, Ill be happy to come back to this adaptor.

Greater than one weekI bought Beelink mini-computers for home and work. The audio on the home was clipping, at work the audio stopped working altogether. When I plugged in the DUKABEL USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter at home it was like I plugged in an amplifier! Awesome! At work, the audio was back and just as awesome as home. These adapters have built-in audio cards which can get you streaming fast. Highly recommend this quick fix.I am listening to it as I write this review.

> 3 dayUnfortunately what nearly no one seems to know is that there are 2 different standards for headset jacks, and the mic input is in a different place on the jack on each of them, which means while the headphone part may work, the mic will not. Plugging my phone headset into my computers headset jack only gave me the desktop audio through the mic, not my voice, so the PC jack was not compatible with my headset. I purchased this hoping it would allow me to use my headset (that works fine with my laptop) with my PC. Short story: it didnt work, so if this is what youre trying to do also, look for something else. If only anyone would label which standard they were using (and that its even a thing that there are different ones) Id have skipped this product. The low rating isnt just for the product not working for me. If I had a different headset it might have functioned. The other problems I encountered were: Poor audio quality. I lost most of the bass of the audio vs plugging the 3.5mm jack directly into the computer. This resolved some after the computer finished setting up the drivers, but when that happened there was a sharp electrical pop in my ears, so maybe dont have your earbuds in until its done with that part. Some of this was due to a poor connection. When I held the connection between this adapter and my headset it was easy to disrupt. Simply squeezing my hand around it or rotating the jack input changed the quality from fine to terrible and back, complete with staticky crackles. After the drivers were in place and with the connection held just right, the audio in the earbuds was fine. It was fairly obvious it was a digital conversion after having just been using the headphones with the 3.5mm jack, but it was adequate. However if it had worked with my headset mic and I was trying to actually use this adapter regularly, Im sure I would have had to secure the connection with electrical tape or something else to ensure it never moved once I got it in the sweet spot.

> 3 dayI wasnt sure how well this adapter would actually work, and Im never confident on the construction of an inexpensive electronic, but I was pleasantly shocked on both counts. The audio seems to have perfect fidelity and suffers no discernible delay, and the fit and materials of the item are perfect for their purpose. The only note is that it tends to increase the audio volume, so youll just have to set that somewhat lower when using it. Thats not even an issue, just something to be aware of.
