> 3 dayI use this adapter with my Turtle Beach earbuds that I ordered with these. I originally ordered in case I ever got a headset that used 1 audio & mic slot, while my computer has an audio slot & a mic slot, but didnt realize the headset I did order was just that. Im very happy I had the foresight to order the adapter aswell. Thank you for the timely delivery. :)

> 3 dayThe company was great about responding and replacing the part, but there was a weird hum that would come from the mic portion when using the listen to this device feature in windows to listen to the mic it was always putting off a signal. I just decided that the product would not work for me even though the service was great.

> 3 dayFor what this little thing does, theres not much out there to compare it with. You could get a bigger DAC/AMP, or another type of USB DAC but the costs are anywhere from $30+ to $100s... This is all you really need if for stereo sound in gaming. Most games do not produce actual 5.1 or 7.1 sound anyway so all those little dongles that say 7.1 are just reproducing the sound, similar to windows sound virtualization...which can be good or bad, depending on your opinion needs. Put simply, this is a great product. My HyperX 7.1 inline USB dongle wore out, so I needed something to boost the sound after realizing just plugging straight into mobo wasnt good enough. This works. It is high quality, produces amplified sound without scrubbing or virtualizing it. Protip: When I had the USB end plugged directly into my computer, I would sometimes hear a buzz for a minute or then it wouuld go away. I realized this was some sort of interference and moved it to a USB 3.0/1 powered switch that sits a few feet away from my pc, no more random buzz, its really nice.

> 3 dayPlugged this adapter into a USB 2 on my Lenovo ThinkStation desktop. Plugged my old Dell A525 computer speaker system from 2006. Started my Amazon Prime music and had music. No hassle, no driver no problem.

> 3 dayThis works great for output. 5 stars for that. But Ive tested it with a couple of different headsets and the mike wont work on any of them when using this adapter. So 1 star for that. It MIGHT be my PC, I guess, so please read other comments/reviews as well.

> 3 dayI have an older laptop and one of the screws in the under body loosened and fell off unbeknownst to me and rendered the headphone input useless as it shifted and input blocked. Anyway...looking for an adapter I found this one and with it positive reviews purchased it. Nothing complicated, plug it, and it works. Worked like a charm and audio was not diminished just as if I had plugged it in the headphone jack. Grant it I had it for two days so I cant comment on its durability but if from the beginning I am happy and cant complain.
