05-04-2025I have some bay lights that I hung in my garage. I didn’t want a 6 foot long pull cord hanging down and possibly getting snagged by my garage door. This worked perfectly. Flawless operation thus far.

> 3 dayI have used another smart plug that no longer would sync with the app. I purchased this as a replacement. The app works much better. In no time I had all 5 of them working. They have worked well and with the app.I havent tried using them with Alexa, so cant speak to that.

> 3 dayI am running multiple devices via the Smart Live App without any problems but these smart plugs will connect to Smart Life and work for only 1 cycle before locking up. If you are only using the Avitar App to control these plugs, they will work fine but their app is not widely supported by other manufacturers. I am returning to Amazon for a refund.

> 3 dayOK, it took some patience, for me, at least, with this companys products, but its paid off so much for me. I started with their light bulbs, about a year ago, because they were cheap, but had all the high end features, and didnt need a hub. At the time, I thought the set up was a nightmare. I went bonkers, trying to get the app to change the names of the bulbs and set them up in the config I wanted. When I first went to buy these plugs, the reason I bought these specific ones, was because they were the same manufacturer / app as the bulbs I had, and I wanted to stay hub-less, so it was a no-brainer. They had improved the app by that time, and it was much easier to set up and configure names, and rooms. I thought that most people would pull their hair out though, because I consider myself a bit tech-savvy. I just went in and had to switch some things around with my set up, let me tell you, they have it down now, oh boy. I was able to change the names of the devices, and reorganize room configuration, without even opening the app for the devices themselves, the alexa app set up the whole thing. You may have to do the initial set up through smart life (idk, but if so, I bet thats streamlined too), but Ill be deliberately looking for these products in the future, for value, and ease of use.

> 3 dayWas only able to get one of the four to connect to wi-fi. Instructions are ambiguous. Couldnt pair with blue tooth. Tried 8 times on two different plugs to connect to wi-fi (2 minutes per try). Plus you have to use their app and link to Alexa. Nope. Returned.

> 3 dayThis was my first experience delving into home automation and I must say Im impressed with their performance thus far. I used these plugs for two different televisions and lamps. I control these plugs via two gen 3 Echo Dots and they work flawlessly. I will be buying more!

> 3 daySo thrilled to be able to voice control my Christmas tree via Alexa than have to climb down behind the tree and plug and unplug it every single time! Yipee!! Its exciting every time I say alexa, turn on the christmas tree or Alexa turn off the Christmas tree! I know, geekly, but totally cool. Ok the product. It was pretty easy to set up. I think the instructions could have been written out a little easier to understand, but Im old, so maybe its just me. I think it was good value for the 4 pack that I bought. Ive used another one on a bedroom lamp, so its nice to tell Alexa to turn on the lamp prior to going to bed and its already on when I walk in and to just tell her to turn it off once Im in bed and ready to turn out the light, instead of fumbling for a light switch. I have two sockets left, cant wait to figure out where to put them!

> 3 dayHad a power surge and the one hooked to the air conditioner window unit has not worked since. kind of cheaply made i would assume. the other one is working fine (the one hooked to surge protector). so giving it a half rating. am disappointed that one died.
