Greater than one weekWith this system, there is no monthly fee. You put the app on your phone and you get a notification when the camera senses movement and will give you face recognition if the person is in the viewing field of vision. I originally bought two cameras and a home base, but then added a third camera for my office, but keep it off unless we’re going away.

> 3 dayI purchased a 2 camera package and homebase and installed it with no problems. I decided to add a third camera and purchased an add-on unit which installed without problem. After a month or so the new camera developed a flaring problem like there was moisture inside the camera lens. I brought the camera inside and allowed it to dry out and then returned it outside. The same problem occurred again so I connected Eufy Support. Sending them the requested details including a screenshot of the flaring they determined that I should return the camera and they would replace the item. They provided an easy return process which included a label to return using USPS. Once they received the bad camera a new one was sent and I installed once again. It has been running now for a month or two without seeing the same problem. I recommend this product and especially working with the support team. They are really knowledgeable, friendly, and very responsive to getting the issue resolved. Thanks to everyone for their professionalism.

> 3 dayIll get straight to the point. Here are the Number of Inaccurate And Misleading Statements In the Description: 1. Up to 6 Months Battery: The Battery does not last 6 months, not even 2 weeks. 2. Ability to set zones: The Zones set up is a rectangle and completely useless depending on where you are attempting to cover. 3. Smart Motion Detection: Every time a car goes by at night and the car light flashes into the camera, the notification goes off. This is terrible, especially when trying to get some sleep. 4. 2K Camera: The recordings/photos looks like something from the 80s VHS, this is nothing 2K and a complete and utter lie. Amazon should remove this product or ask the company to change the text. It is not 2K, not even HD. The images are blurry and the recordings are distorted. 5. Notifications: By the time you get notified, someone has already entered and left your house, sometimes nothing is capture at all. Stay away from this Camera.

> 3 dayTHe idea of this camera is great - a completely wireless security camera that you can install in a minute. It is easy to get down and charge, and we like that we can move it around the yard and watch whatever we want. There are so many flaws in its software though, that it ruins anything good about it. Basically, you cannot point this camera anywhere it will see a street, sidewalk or any other public space, unless you want be informed of every car, pedestrian, animal or moving tree. 1. By design, this camera only records when it senses motion. This is so that the battery is not exhausted in a few hours if it was constantly recording. However the motion detection software is so bad on this that it renders the camera almost useless, read on: 2. The common option from most cameras to start recording a few seconds before motion is detected (Its common, I promise) does not exist on this camera, and there is a 1-2 second delay after the motion happens before the recording starts... which usually makes your recordings useless. 3. Once you turn the motion security light feature on, you it does not go off, even after you turn off the feature. It is a known bug and they have not fixed it in months that I have been using this camera. So now, every time it sees something it turns bright lights on, even though I have that feature disabled. Not only does it waste battery, but it signals to intruders where your cameras are and really isnt needed anyway. 4. There is an option, like on many cameras to create zones on the video where you dont want motion to trigger the camera. They dont work at all. Regardless of the zones any motion excluded still triggers the camera. Its a known issue to the community and widespread. 5. You can specify in the settings whether to detect All motion or Humans only. It doesnt work at all. Even when its set to Humans Only, shadows, cars, bugs, lightning, animals, trees moving in the wind all set it off anyway. 6. There seems to be no effect of the 7 level motion sensitivity setting. 1 is the same as 7 and everything in between. Now, to make all of this worse, in order to be a useful security camera, it sends a notification to your smartphone when it senses motion. Which in this case is about 100 times per hour on the front of our house. In addition to the motion-detecting issues outlined above, theres a couple other issues: Theres a bug in the software where you get a notification of motion and when you tap the notification its supposed to take you to the app and show you the recording of the subject. Well most of the time it just plays the same old clip from days ago every time. You have to then go navigate to the event page and find the latest recording. Theres also frequent connection issues while watching live video. I can be sitting right next to the router and base station and it will still lose connection and take forever to reconnect. All of these issues completely ruin any usefulness for me. If I havent had it 4 months now, I would probably return it because $130 is extremely overpriced for this low level of quality.

Greater than one weekI love the 2k resolution. The only limitation comes from the app not the camera. The app needs polygon motion detection zones that the user can customize the motion zone. Squares and rectangles don’t work in most situations. Most FOV need rhombus or trapezoid to cover the motion zone most efficiently. A UI that allow you to move the corners of the motion zone versus only allowing resizing of square, will fix this.
