Setup was straight-forward. Integrates with my eufy video doorbell and hub painlessly. Notifications are instantaneous. No data going to the cloud; all kept local on the 16Gb hub!!! Video quality is very good. Mounting a breeze. Very happy!

Dont buy any of their newest cams. Home base 2 is a ripoff downgrade they are trying to sell as the best thing ever. No battery backup for clips, only 16gb internal storage and no expansion. This cam works with home base 1 but its terrible. Eufy has long promised their AI cam detect human vs everything else and none of the 8 cams Ive had from them have delivered. After 100s of dollars and dozens of hours spent installing removing rebuying and returning their junk, Ive just stuck with them because the cost and hassle to switch would be enormous. This thing wont detect any motion forever and then says everything is a person. If you move the detection lower to get less alerts youll get nothing. Bump it up even a few notches and rain drops or specks of dirt and definitely passing cars will set it off dozens of times. For supposedly 2K the picture is not great. This thing has a spotlight that is also useless. Not very bright and will drain the hell out of the battery. I had 2 eufy indoor 2k cams and the picture was amazing but the pos things would not stay connected to my internet even after upgrading to a whole home mesh system. Please avoid eufy entirely, especially this over priced low quality cam.

First, these arrived very nicely packaged. Great opening presentation. (If thats important to you.) Besides the tools needed, everything was included in the box to install these. linking these to the base station was an absolute breeze. (You do need a base station with these cameras.) Installing them was pretty typical two screws to put up a bracket and then the camera installs to that. Be careful you dont put the plastic bracket up too tight or the second part the bracket wont screw on properly as it will warp. I thought I read that these had the smart ability to detect the difference between humans and all other motion. Not so sure if thats true. One of the camera I installed looks at my driveway. When first installed it kept reporting on all the cars that passed by our house on the street. Very annoying. Solved by simply tipping the camera down more. With the phone app Im almost always able to connect to the cameras. Only time Ive had issues is if Im looking at a camera, close it and then change my mind and try to reopen immediately after. With the PC browser portal its hit or miss whether or not I can connect to the cameras. Im dubious of the 180 day battery life claim, but I suppose time will tell.

These are great cameras. Easy to add, hold a charge for a long time, and perfect if I want to move cameras around a little

Bought this camera as an expansion to my overall eufy security system (HomeBase2+Video Doorbell+2 Cam2 Pro) that I bought in Dec21. The original HomeBase2 malfunctioned in about 10 months, which Eufy generously replaced. The replacement one now refuses to connect to my wifi after about 5 months of use. So, essentially I have 5 paperweights (4 cameras + HomeBase2) after about 15 months of use (investment of ~$550). Wondering, when will US consumers get done protection, and US will stop being a Chinese junkyard!!

Installation and setup was easy. Motion detection was well with the associated notifications. Excellent product.

Camera works pretty good but Im really tired of having to restart the app on my Android. This has been an ongoing issue.
