This is my 2nd screen replacement in the last 2 months. Kids dropped the iPad again before we had a better case. The first screen I purchased was from a different company and was more expensive, this one seemed to be just as good of quality and came with all the same tools. No noticeable differences as far as I can tell. Being this was my 2nd screen replacement I was much more confident and it didn’t take me nearly as long. It’s definitely a detailed job but doable if you’re willing to take the time. Our old iPad is functional again and for less than $20 - so much cheaper than taking it somewhere!

Touchscreen works great. Adhesive not so much

Unit arrived in a nice box packed neatly. It doesnt seem as nice as the original. Screen installation went ok. however, the new home button did not work so had to dig my old one out the trash can, remove it from my broken screen, carefully pry the newly installed screen back off, take the new one back apart and install my old button on the new screen. Disappointing too because my button is about worn out. Id give it two stars. Look for another option.

1st screen had a dead digitizer but second one is working fine.

I typed in IPAD model number and this was what came up. The screen size was close but was slightly too big for his model. Luckily I checked before installing. Please check size before ordering.

So for $20 I can’t see why I can’t recommend this product. My 2 year old dropped his iPad (my old 4th gen) and this saved $300. Don’t even bother with the instructions. It’s detailed but it’s printed so small I have up. Just search YouTube and you will even find videos from FixCracked. Took me about 3 hours but most of the time was spent taking off the broken glass. My wife blow dryer died half way through it so it made my life a little more difficult. Once the glass is off, it’s pretty easy. Just remember to wear gloves and have patience. Let’s see how long it last

Faulty. Doesn’t work properly. Touch only works on certain areas. Highly disappointed

The home button stopped working under 2 months. Frustrating and no way to get in touch with company....
