I haven’t had a turntable since my Technics direct drive from 40 years ago. When it went bad recently I looked for an upgrade/replacement. I couldn’t be more happy with my choice. I love the acrylic platter, for both function and aesthetics, and the lack of wow and flutter with good sound to noise ratio. The sounds is warm, crisp, detailed and better than I remembered my vinyl from the days of the 70s and 80s. A great value as are all the turntables Fluance offers. Simplistic in design and operation but that adds to the overall enjoyment in my opinion. I’m thoroughly immersed in my vinyl collection again!

Sounds great, setup was easy you just need a scale for the arm.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf. Der Plattenspieler ist nicht günstig aber hat eine sehr höhe Tonqualität und Klarheit. Die Herstellung scheint robust und zuverlässig. Die Acryl-Drehscheibe ist optisch sehr schön. Das Zusammenstellen und die Benutzung ist einfach.

I am a conductor, no not one of those big-name maestros who occupy podiums in front of the finest musical ensembles I am a conductor of music, one who more than 50 years has had the privilege and expereince waving arms or baton in front of singers, orchestras, showbands, rock bands, jazz groups, soloists, childrens choirs, heck even trained hogs! I KNOW what live music sounds like. And I confess, I have been obsessed with audio stuff since I could say Heathkit and Dynaco.

sounds great, I love the cartridge. The auto shutoff is nice. I had a speed strobe disk on it that you can download from Fluance, print and cutout and place on platter and the speeds are perfect.

Purchased as a gift for a family member; assembly was simple and straightforward with no issues, only time will tell for longterm reliability. As for the sound, I could hear no rumble or motor noise, speed accuracy was exact at both 331/3 and 45rpms. The removable headshell would make it easy to swap out phono cartridges if so desired. Many positive reviews for this model in and outside of the Amazon jungle...

Great turntable. I’ve been very satisfied with this so far. Easy set up (beginners may need to take their time and read the instructions and maybe watch a video or two) But I was familiar with the process from previous turntables. The ortofon blue cartridge is one of my favorites. Definitely recommended for a midrange priced turntable. Features I’d expect on higher priced units.

I love the turntable but unfortunately the auto stop stopped working!! Still a bargain for a high quality turntable though!

Hard to beat for the price. Sounds like it should cost twice as much. Gorgeous table with equally gorgeous sound.

What more can be added that hasnt already been written/reviewed about the Fluance RT85?
