> 3 dayThis sounds AMAZING! This is my first introduction into the audiophile range of tables and styli and I am blown away!! I upgraded from a 1980s (maybe even 70s for all know) GE TT1000... blah blah fully automatic TT with Audio Technica AT92E cartridge. Though, it really did not sound bad at all, it was just time for an upgrade.

Greater than one weekSo I started my vinyl hobby by stealing my moms Crosley 5-in-1 record player and taking it to college with me. That was a year and a half ago. After getting acquainted with the Crosley, I started buying some of my favorite albums on vinyl. The first record I bought was Business As Usual by Men At Work. I played that record hundreds of times, much to the annoyance of my two roommates. Eventually I became dissatisfied with the built-in speakers and the tinny quality the Crosley would produce. Sometimes it was playing brand-new records and it would skip which is apparently a common issue among the brand. I would send records back to where they came from or frame them instead of listening to them.

> 3 dayFirst things first, the sound quality is a substantial upgrade from the RT82 by FLUANCE that I had purchased only a year prior. In fact its the best sounding turntable for beginners Ive ever heard. Not that Ive traveled the world in search of turntable nirvana mind you. However Ive seen my fair share amongst others in this price category and Im highly impressed by the RT85s Value For Money. The new Bamboo veneer, (Available as of May 22, 2021) is matte, clean and elegant which provides a nice contrast amid the brown, black and silver quagmire of modern Hi-Fi.

> 3 dayI originally bought a Project T1 but thank goodness something was wrong with it and I had to send jt back in. I went looking for a different option and found this Fluance. Simply put, this thing is 10x better than the Pro-ject, and matches my AudioEngine A5 setup perfectly. I absolutely love this setup and can’t recommend it enough. If you are on the fence with something else, just buy this and thank me later.

> 3 dayMassive upgrade from what I had as a setup. Easy to get up and running. If anyone is hesitant about making such a big purchase, DON’T! Believe all the positive reviews. I’m experiencing my vinyl in a whole different way.
